Martin Loeber immigrated to Illinois from Germany back in the 1920s. This was that land of opportunity, and he simply wanted to earn enough money to buy a farm back home in Germany. He started by selling Chevys in 1928, and quickly set his sights higher. He fell in love with the automotive industry, and just a few years later in 1936, he opened his first dealership in Downtown Chicago.
After 80 years, and two generations, Loeber Motors is still going strong, and we are proud to own this Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart car dealership right here in Chicago.
With our 80,000 square-foot facility, we have set ourselves up to serve all of your Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart needs. In fact, we offer one of the largest combined Mercedes-Benz, Smart, and Sprinter retail and service facilities in the Midwest.

I vistied 2 other luxury vehicle dealerships and the sales people could barely tell me what size engine the vehicles had. It is quite apparent that mark does his studying. I let him know that I was not in the market to lease for another 6 months and just wanted to get a jump on my research. He spent an hour with me and never did he act as if I was waisting his time.
