Was shopping for a specific model of vehicle and found it at Archer Volkswagen. Inquired online and had Ricardo Buchanan as my salesman help me through the process of trading in my vehicle and purchasing ano at Archer Volkswagen. Inquired online and had Ricardo Buchanan as my salesman help me through the process of trading in my vehicle and purchasing another. I had a flawless trade and purchase all done online. Drove down to the dealership five days later to pick up my car and drop off my trade in. All my paperwork was done online and was quick and flawless. I did have a issue with my vehicle, that was quickly handled and taken care of, by the sales manager Claudia and the GM. They all made sure that my purchase was uneventful and took great care that I was happy with my purchase. I just want to thank you all for a great experience and I love my car! More

1 star. Undisclosed policy wasted our morning and cost them a sale. Booked an appointment online for our 2012 Beetle, entering the make, model, and year d Undisclosed policy wasted our morning and cost them a sale. Booked an appointment online for our 2012 Beetle, entering the make, model, and year during booking. The car was checked in normally. After a 20-minute wait, we were told the dealership has a policy against servicing vehicles over 10 years old unless purchased there, because it "costs them more money than they make on them." That policy is not written down anywhere. Not on the website, not during online booking, even after entering the vehicle year, not on the intake form, not at check-in. We only found out after showing up and going through check-in. They would not run diagnostics, which was the entire point of the visit. The manager was unhelpful and dismissive when asked about the lack of disclosure. We were actually close to being in the market for a new car and planned to use this appointment to help decide. Instead of a conversation about options or a trade-in, we got turned away and a clear message that our business wasn't wanted unless we'd bought the car there. Not exactly how you build customer loyalty. We won't be back for service or for a new car purchase. More
