Detail was awful when we bought car still had food caked everywhere. Watched them take the car to an automatic car wash. I had a very annoying experience, one that I have had on two earlier occasions. At its root is the assignment of a service advisor to look after the work on my car and stay in touch with me. The annoyance is that when that advisor is not working, no one else picks up the his clients. This occurs almost always when my cars require service over two days. The service advisor has the second day off and no one has a clue about me. While not a huge issue, I got my car back this time (after 3 days) just filthy. When I paid my bill with my credit card, no one mentioned the 3% fee. I could easily have used my debit card. More

First, I scheduled an appointment through the automated system. Never asked my name and made feel insecure about the situation. Called the center and spoke to the receptionist. She stated it was good that I called because the would not be able to see me at the scheduled time. She also stated that the automated system is working. I live 40 minutes away. Secondly, when I was in the row of the maintenance center the boy that checked me in mumbled and had no greeting. I had to tell him I couldn’t understand him three times. Next, the service person sent me a text stating that he couldn’t find me when he went to the waiting area. He didn’t come there. I had to find someone and walk me to his desk. He was unresponsive, uninterested, and just went through the motions. I’m coming from another dealership. The receptionist told me that they can use me VIN # to look up my past services from another place. I get there and find out that isn’t true and it is all my responsibility. I have tried to keep my car “certified” but for the price I pay for service and then have a dealership that sees me as just another customer is something that makes feel like I don’t care anymore to give money to BMW.
