He answered all our questions and was so patient and not the least bit pushy. He explained each and every aspect of not only the car but also about exactly how the leasing program works. As it was our first experience doing this, neither my daughter or I knew what to ask or what to expect. However, once we met John we were so at ease and totally felt comfortable. We then met Leo Ohayon who just talked to the both of us and made us even more at ease. The end of the story is that my daughter is now driving a VW Sport and couldn't be happier. I would absolutely, positively recommend Bayside VW to anyone who is interested in leasing or buying a car. I just can't say enough about how pleasant an experience it was. More

I went to a variety of dealers and was not only offered unacceptably low prices but I was treated with complete disrespect and condescension. The typical nightmare scenarios you hear about of game playing, high pressure manipulation, sleazy tactics. lies and twisting of numbers... you name it, I experienced it. So what a breath of fresh air to walk into Bayside VW and meet up with Leo Ohayon. He looked at my car, researched some info on his computer and made his offer, all while being friendly and perfectly respectful. We "discussed" its value and my cars assets and then I left so I could think about it. We traded a few emails later on that day and I was able to increase his offer to a number I'd be more willing to sell it for. I came in 2 days later and within a half hour or so I had my check in hand. The truth is, you cannot put a price on being treated with professionalism and respect-- a main reason why I sold my beloved VW to Leo and his dealership. Thank you! More

I did my research well in advance, and I knew the exact vehicle I w We had a great experience buying a Certified Pre-Owned Golf at Bayside Volkswagen. I did my research well in advance, and I knew the exact vehicle I wanted and I was more than familiar with prices because I had been following them for awhile. It's hard to find used Golfs, especially ones actually certified by Volkswagen. I was lucky enough to get one just off a lease, and I snapped it up immediately. There were other cars available, but none of them were certified, or they were overpriced, or it was some crazy unrealistic deal from some sleezy place where you have to wonder what they're hiding. After I found this car, I got a prompt reply from Sally Morello, and we went in and dealt with Jeffrey Schull. He expedited everything for us very well. Everyone at Bayside Volkswagen was extremely polite and professional, including Leo Ohayon, who was in charge of the certified vehicles. The entire process was pretty stress free. Jeff expedited everything for us from beginning to end. I read other reviews where people seemed angry that they couldn't get a better deal, but we honestly got an awesome deal. These other people didn't do their research. If a dealer is selling a quality certified vehicle with a clean car fax they are not going to let that car go for less than its market value, especially if that car is in demand. All those "great deals" you see online are for cars with questionable history, and you're taking a gamble on huge repairs later on. Time will tell, but so far I'm thrilled. I feel really good about what I got. More
