The Bommarito Ford Service Department is horrible, About 2-3 weeks ago my brother called to make an appointment because the check engine light came on in our vehicle. We had an appointment scheduled for today, Friday, March 13th. We dropped the car off on Thursday evening. Friday morning at 10:30 the advisor, Scott texted my brother and said they wouldn't be looking at the car today and asked if it was ok if they kept it over the weekend. Not sure why because no one works in service over the weekend. I asked what the point of having an appointment was since the car wasn't even looked at and he told me it puts the "car in line." So our appointment for today (Friday) turns into the car being kept over the weekend and hopefully being looked at on Monday AND fixed. Scott also told me that if it was the transmission it would take 14 hours to fix (which is kinda funny because the transmission was fixed on this car last year and the service department had it for about a month.) I tried calling to talk to the Service Manager, Dan, and he wasn't available either (which I've tried to get a hold of him before with no luck. The Service Department needs to look at how they do their appointments especially if an appointment doesn't mean you will get your car back "fixed" in the same day but rather "in line'. I have purchased many cars from this dealer and I always cringe if I have to use the Service Department. More
Was told that I could use any Ford dealership for the oil changes. Found out not true. Talked to GSM Brad and he said no one would of told you that information. Let know the finance manager Jim. He blamed it on Oz the sales person. They knew I live in South Carolina and would never be able to use their service. They tell you what they want to make the sale. Brad said it was because of the pricing. I have the z plan so price will be the same no matter where I go. More
Not Happy Purchased a 2016 Lincoln Mkc with only 5900 mile on it, I was told I could get a better interest rate with him than going though my bank 15% , but instead it was much higher 22%, lower car pay mile on it, I was told I could get a better interest rate with him than going though my bank 15% , but instead it was much higher 22%, lower car payment under 500 but much higher 506. Then come to find out after week of having the car. the fuel sending unit gas gauge isn't working, and the shop is refusing to fix it. This is poor business i wish i took my business to another lot. Only having the car for a month and problems at the beginning, forcing me to deal with existing problems and keep the car. Everything was a lie just to get a sale by talking good game. I wouldn't recommend this dealership to anyone. Poor business. Going to BBB. More
