I wish I had chosen one of the many other Chevy dealerships Friendly salesman, but I just hate the 5 hour dealer games. I was hoping to see my situation improve, but it didn't. I'm not impressed. I feel like I missed something... all the hype but no real deal, no value above or beyond what I would get anywhere else. I was really looking forward to that illusive "Red Carpet Treatment". The rebates they advertise on their sites change... I got $1000 less from the Carl Black cash than what was on their site. Even after showing the screen shot... just excuses. They offered cheesy upgrades they already did to the vehicle... like a $300 paint polish that they can't prove was ever put on the vehicle, and can't tell me how I would know... (I've been detailing cars for about 30 years and I know what the luster of fresh polished paint feels like... and nope, not there at all) or a blinky brake light module they added to the third taillight... that you would never pay $300 for... then add it on top of the "OTD" price you shook on. The salesman didn't listen well... couldn't (or just didn't) answer many questions, didn't follow up on anything and could have totally sold me a more expensive truck with more options... but didn't take the effort... I'll add them myself later (lot cheaper anyway I guess). I wasn't looking for cheap, I was looking for value. There is a big difference. And I certainly wasn't looking to leave feeling like just another number on a spreadsheet. Makes me appreciate Seminole Harley Davidson even more... man do they make you feel like they value your business. Three years later and they still invite me to the free events... food, giveaways, games... hours of fun several times a year... did I mention; all free? I wish I would have bought from a different dealer. Good truck... bad dealership. Whenever I buy a new car I look forward to the extras that make me feel like I got something... even the owners manual feels cheap... in a zip lock bag... no pride and leaving only the image of Scrooge diving for a penny at every turn. I won't go back. May not even choose a Chevy next time. I'm very disappointed in the process, lack of value and the dealership. Good truck... good price... but the same price as any other dealer in the state... without that good feeling. Sad. More
