Bait and Switch Bait and switch! Purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee, first they tried to box me into a high interest rate loan from Allied, but I was able to get Bait and switch! Purchased a used Jeep Grand Cherokee, first they tried to box me into a high interest rate loan from Allied, but I was able to get pre-approval from my credit union. They (Michael in finance) didn't want to wait for the overnighted check of my credit union so they sent the loan to Allied instead, probably hoping I would just go with the more expensive rate since they make money off of those loans. Fine, whatever, I dealt with the hassle having to wait for the loan show in Allied's system to get the pay off amount, I had to pay finance charges to Allied, get the registration and title to show the proper lien holder... it was very time consuming I was going to let that go, but now here I am a month later and realized they didn't sell me a genuine extended mopar warranty like I asked. Instead, Michael sold me a 3rd party contract from "First Extended Service Corp" (read the reviews on that company, they are down right scary). Luckily I caught it within the first 60 days so under California I am entitled to a full refund upon cancellation. I am finding it really hard to recommend Cal Burger, to say their staff is a bit shady, is being very polite. More

Kinda high pressure and the sales manager was rude and dismissive, wouldn't budge on price and trying to jack the interest rate, I walked as I wasn't about to be pressed to buy, even though I liked the car. Next day looked at the Web site and found the exact same car that they would be losing money on if they lowered the price , was reduced $450.00 . Went back in purchase did not tell them I knew of the price reduction, and they tried to sell it to me at the higher price,showed them the Web site and they lowered it, but I believe they were just trying to see if they could get it by me. In my opinion not very professional and maybe a little dishonest. Salesman was ok played dumb most of the time,smart on his part,sales manager was a rude jerk. More
