I was told the front axle CV boot was leaking on my Sorrento, replaced at the cost of $596.00. Shortly after, begain hearing a rattle sound from the front end. Replaced the CV boot under warranty at n Sorrento, replaced at the cost of $596.00. Shortly after, begain hearing a rattle sound from the front end. Replaced the CV boot under warranty at no cost. Also heard a thumping sound from the rear tires, Told is was cupping of the tires. Continued to hear rattle from front end, again replaced CV boot under warrnaty. Continued hearing the rattle, brought the car back again, was told the rattle in the front end is now diagnosed as needing a front strut assy, and front stabilizer bar. And now the thumping sound from the rear is not from tire cupping, but needs wheel bearing assy. replacement. Total cost of all services, $2,315.96. Declined the repairs. Brought the car to a local reputable mechanic for a second opinion, and was told NONE of the repairs recommended was needed. While the service advisor was friendly, and the waitng room comfortable, I have no confidence in the dealership's mechanics. More
