Salesman promised everything, but couldn't deliver ANYTHING! Had a decent sales experience. Two hours to agree on price and trade in, etc. Not so bad. I've had longer car buying experiences. When I came to pick up the car, the "closing paperwork" was gonna be delayed for 20 minutes which is totally acceptable, again not too bad, right? However, I felt it a bit strange that the Salesman wanted to move my license plates and get my bluetooth set up in the new car I was picking up. Strange, but OK assuming I'm gonna be driving this new car home in an hour and leaving my trade in, so good for him to be doing something positive with this down time, Right? WRONG! I knew better, but was trying to give the benefit of the doubt. THEN it became very clear why the Salesman was doing this! #1, the accessories I ordered and were promised to be installed and ready, WERE NOT READY! It would have been nice to know this BEFORE changing my plates, in fact it would have been nice to know BEFORE driving 40 minutes to pick up my new vehicle that clearly is NOT READY!! #2, I come to find out they're having issues with my interstate registration as I live in CT. It would have been nice to know this too before coming to pick up my new vehicle that is clearly NOT READY! As I sit here typing this review 40 days after purchase, I STILL DON'T HAVE MY CT REGISTRATION OR NEW PLATES!! So, I've been technically driving a brand new car that now has an expired temporary registration.......as that was only good for 30 days. Ok, so we got it all straightened out after threatening to put my plates back on my trade in and to leave. So I got my new car, but I still need to bring it back to get the two accessories installed at a later date. THEN, it takes two weeks for the parts to get there (two hitch assembly and remote start), so they finally call me to set up a service date and I get hit with the bombshell that THESE PARTS CAN NOT BE INSTALLED ON A SATURDAY. It was made very clear to me that my accessories could be installed anytime and confirming that the service department is open on Saturdays. Turns out, the service department is open on Saturdays, but the installer that happens to perform the installation of trailer hitches and remote starts DOES NOT WORK SATURDAY'S. So, now I have to take a 1/2 day off work to come get my hitch and remote start installed on weekday! Kind of infuriating! WISHING NOW I'D NEVER PURCHASED A CAR FROM DCH TOYOTA OF WAPPINGERS!!!! Wait, don't stop reading, it's NOT OVER YET!!!! Finally I schedule the installation for a Thursday afternoon and they promise to be done in two hours. To my surprise, they were done in 90 minutes which was great, Right? NOPE, upon inspection, I realize they only installed a hitch, but with NO WIRING HARNESS. After speaking with the manager, we agree that my new car should have the wiring harness installed along with the hitch since I paid $750 just for this accessory. (Although the sales contract does not say anything more than "Tow hitch" apparently they are supposed to write "Tow hitch with wiring harness" or "Tow hitch without wiring harness" and in my case the just wrote "Tow Hitch". This seemed fine with me when I paid for this accessory since I knew what we agreed to, and $750 should cover both! A point the manager agreed with. Although the manager agreed to install the wiring harness, it turns out they don't seem to have one in stock!!! So, they couldn't do it that day.......mind you, this is the day I took a vacation day in the afternoon to get this work done. The manager realizing this is now promising to get this done any Saturday I pick so I don't have to take more time off from work. Now it's been 16 days since my installation of the tow hitch and I have still not heard back from ANYONE about whether the wiring harness is in or not!! Haven't heard from the manager or the service dept!! Crazy right? On top of that, as I said earlier, I STILL DON'T HAVE MY NEW LICENSE PLATES!! So driving on an expired temporary registration!! Really sucks. When will this all end?? I guess only time will tell. Btw, it also turns out that you should not pair a 2019 toyota sienna with bluetooth UNTIL YOU INSTALL TOYOTA ENTUNE 3.0 on you phone. If you pair bluetooth prior to this it doesn't work so well. In fact, I noticed the bluetooth pairing kept timing out the night the salesman paired it for me. I remember the salesman telling me the software needed to be updated in the car radio and he would do it while I closed the deal. After driving for a week with an unstable connection and trying everything to no avail.....totally frustrated...........I finally stumbled upon the answer......I uninstalled the pairing. Then installed entune 3.0 (regular Entune did not work) on my phone, THEN paired my phone and walla!! It works. SHOULDN'T THE SALESMAN KNOW THIS???? Btw, the navigation system on the toyota systems ONLY WORK IF YOU DOWNLOAD THE SCOUT GPS APP!! The navigation does not work if you don't install this app. I finally got this working, but it seems you also have to update the Scout GPS app for each update OR YOU GET A REALLY ANNOYING MESSAGE SAYING YOUR GPS IS OUT OF DATE. I've had this car 40 days and ended up uninstalling the Scout GPS app because it needed to be updated numerous times. I'll just use the WAZE app on my phone as it works better than the system toyota has envisioned with your own personal phone hVing to update a crappy nav app like scout GPS every few days. Bad plan Toyota!! My fingers are tired!! 40 days later and I'm still waiting....... I'll NEVER BUY A CAR FROM DCH TOYOTA OF WAPPINGERS AGAIN!! NEVER!!! More

When I turned him down, he kept pushing that he was right and even said to me as I had just finished paying that NY State is considered severe driving conditions. The manual mentions towing, roof-top carriers, and several short trips in freezing temps as severe and I don’t do those things. I said no. You should just make a note on the report I get that you recommend those services. DCH always handles my vehicle with care and respect, and their mechanics have always been top notch. Evin was a poor face of a company that prides itself on service. More
