Went to buy a new equinox at the beginning of March, my salesman was Damien. In the beginning Damien seemed to be a good person to buy a car from until the cars I found on the website were not available, a salesman was Damien. In the beginning Damien seemed to be a good person to buy a car from until the cars I found on the website were not available, all I was looking to do was get a black equinox with AWD (which there were TONS online but apparently none in shop) I was pretty adamant with my price range and every time we talked we moved further from it and I told him that. He ended up selling me a black on black LT Equinox.. went to the dealership to sign papers and everything I signed stated the vehicle had TWO miles on it. Once I was finally able to see the car the interior/exterior wasn't detailed properly, no fuel in the car (Joe, the delivery coordinator ended up fixing those problems) and when my mother and I confronted him.. would have been his time to say the car had 974 miles on it and was used as a demo car. There were multiple instances he could have told us instead of lying. A few days ago I tried calling him to find out what is going on with my "We Owe You" for an oil change since the oil life in the vehicle was not 100% . He called back on the office phone the next day stating he doesn't have good service in the office on his cell .. which was NEVER an issue when he was trying to get me to buy a car from him. He said he will follow up with the "We Owe You" and get back to me....he was very kind on the phone and did say it shouldn't be a problem. The day after that I followed up with him called his cell twice and it immediately went to voicemail both times, then called his desk phone and it kept ringing never even went to voicemail for me to leave a message so I then texted him that I was trying to get a hold of him and it went to text not Imessage...so I am assuming he blocked me … moral of the story I will never buy another car from Damien or recommend his service. More
