I didn't give the service department a high rating because I've only dealt with them twice. The 1st time I was accused of coming in without an appointment when it was the Setvice Manager who actually because I've only dealt with them twice. The 1st time I was accused of coming in without an appointment when it was the Setvice Manager who actually told me to bring the car in at that time. As it turned out, one of the parts they had for me had to be reordered and I had to come back again. Then, several days later I called to see if the part was in. I spent more than an hour being bounced between parts, service and sales. It was especially aggravating that nobody picked up in the service department TWICE, prompting me to hang ip and call back. All this for a lousy set of rear mud guards! Finally, parts told me they had the proper guards (which lead me to believe they had them from the get-go). Not until Sonata (sales) got involved was this taken care of. Then, when I brought the car in for the rear guards, I waited quite a long time even though there were very few in the waiting room. I realize long waits can happen, but for such a seemingly small job I was never kept informed. Additionally, it's a nice touch that after cars are serviced, they are run through a car wash. However, It might be a good idea to dry the car as well. Each time my car came dripping back to me. I trust that the service department at Family Hyundai is much better than I've experienced so far.
