DO NOT WASTE YOUR TIME ATTEMPTING TO DO BUSINESS WITH THIS DEALERSHIP. I wish i could give a negative star rating. The most unprofessional experience i have ever had with a dealership & i buy cars often! THIS DEALERSHIP. I wish i could give a negative star rating. Ferman has lost my business FOR LIFE, INCLUDING MY FUTURE FLEET PURCHASES FOR MY ENTIRE CONSTRUCTION COMPANY, MY TREE COMPANY AND MY JUNK REMOVAL COMPANY, GOOD JOB FERMAN. I was in the process of purchasing a new Silverado from them. I did not ask for a single discount and signed a purchase order for the full asking price BEFORE I EVEN SAW THE TRUCK IN PERSON. I asked them to simply throw in a bed-liner ($300 value their cost at most) which they rudely refused to do. The dealership contacted me Friday afternoon letting me know the truck that i had been waiting to come in had finally arrived, i immediately signed and sent over a purchase order along with a down payment as soon as i was off work within a couple of hours of them letting me know the truck was available. Without any knowledge to me, The general manager Jim Larkin was apparently working side deals on the truck without telling me and sold it out from under me before i could even get off work to get over there even though i had a signed buyers agreement and was making arrangements to come get the truck. This all happened between Friday evening around 4 pm and Saturday around Noon aka after banks normal operating hours. They apparently expected me to drop everything i was doing to run to them on a Friday night after my bank was closed and get the truck right then and there which is impossible. I needed this truck for work and they have now put me in a compromised position with my income / company. They work side deals on the same units without a care of the valuable customers time they are wasting. Not to mention how unprofessional with the lack of knowledge the sales team was. The only reason i was even attempting to buy from them was due to the need for the truck i had. Thanks to Jims unprofessionalism Ferman has lost all of my business from here on out i will be using Stingray or another local dealer for my future purchases. Good job Jim the xxxxxxx you just lost half a million dollars or more of future purchases over your monthly sales quota you cared more about than long term business. Complete idiots. Everything on the dealership level went well. They had a good selection of vehicles and the buying process was fairly swift. I do however believe that a salesperson should know basic features of a car they are selling - especially if it comes with a $66,000 price tag. For example - do the mirrors fold in when the vehicle is in park (salesperson response - unsure), how does the rear seat entertainment system work (Response - I think you just plug in a regular USB cord. There is no regular USB plug -only a micro USB or HDMI port), is the tailgate hands free (response - I think so but they could not demonstrate), does the Tahoe offer a supplemental fuel tank (response - not sure), can you add the blind spot detection mirrors as an extra (response - not sure but I don’t think so). Ultimately I am very happy with my vehicle purchase and am enjoying it immensely. I hope to learn about all the wonderful features it has and am looking forward to the many road trips my family and I will enjoy in the Tahoe. More
