I was pleased from the moment I stepped out of my car. My 94 year older mom was with me, and Joe Lord greeted me and asked if he could push her chair to help. Problem: I made an appt. to have my EV Bolt battery checked out due to a recall. I called to make sure there was actually something that could be done at this time. The appt setter checked with the se checked out due to a recall. I called to make sure there was actually something that could be done at this time. The appt setter checked with the service dept, and was told that it was just an inspection to see if my battery was one of the ones to be concerned with possible fire, melting, etc. And that they would need 2 to 3 hours for the inspection. When I arrived, the service tech said there was nothing to do at this time. Nothing to inspect, and they would notify me by mail when they had found a resolution. My wife and I each wasted at least 1-1/2 hours driving in pouring rain for information that should have been available over the phone. Please inform your appt setters and service personnel how to avoid this problem in the future. The service manager I dealt with was very courteous, but I still didn't get anything useful done for the time spent. More
