This was an unique experience for me purchasing a truck this way and I will probably do it again since I do not enjoy the "typical" dealer experience where I am stuck in a lonely room while the deal is being made. It was worth the quick flight to Dallas. Sam was very personable and I enjoyed my time working with him. I liked the fact that I felt he was truly showing me the person he is and not hiding something - which has been my experience with local salespeople. I don't like the upsell attempt from the finance guys when purchasing but I do understand why it is done. David was good at his job with this and explained the options well but I held firm and left without the add-ons just as I had planned. I appreciate that David did not show discontent with me because the last purchase I made at a different dealership did not go as well and the individual actually got angry with me and made me feel guilty - or at least tried to. I even had the fortune to talk with Hector while I was waiting. Great conversation and I learned that he loves to deep sea fish with his military buddies. He didn't sell me a truck but he helped sell the dealership to me for future references and possible purchases. The gentleman helping with the SYNC (can't remember name) also dropped by and checked over the vehicle closely. Made sure I didn't have any questions and took the time to get me the handouts for a class I couldn't attend due to timing. Overall, it was a great experience and I have already recommended this dealership to a coworker who was considering you for a future purchase. More

From the moment I stepped out of the car and was greeted by Bashar, to Buying a new car can be a harrowing event. But NOT when you go to 5 Star Ford!! From the moment I stepped out of the car and was greeted by Bashar, to the moment I drove my new Explorer off the lot was exceptional! Bashar was knowledgeable about the vehicles available and knew all of the differences when I asked about the different models of the Explorer. He helped me make the best decision for what was important to me in a vehicle. The application and finance portion went just as smooth. I was offered refreshments and lounged watching golf while wrapping everything up. Afteer document signing, Bashar ushered me out to my new car which was detailed beautifully. Bashar went over the features again to ensure I was comfortable with all of the technology and operating my new Explorer. I drove away feeling elated about the entire car buying experience!! Multiple trips in a week for warranty I took my 2016 Mustang GT in for a check engine light, the vehicle only has 20k miles on it. It turned out to be a random misfire, then a cylinder 8 m I took my 2016 Mustang GT in for a check engine light, the vehicle only has 20k miles on it. It turned out to be a random misfire, then a cylinder 8 misfire and dead cylinder. I turned it in on a Monday afternoon then picked it up on a Thursday afternoon, i then turned around and took it back for the same reasons on that Saturday morning. I received a call Monday afternoon saying my timing was out and that they will need to keep it until the end of the month to get it back to the heavy line service department. I spoke with the service manager and was told to not be concerned even though he has never heard of these issues happening before, my main concern is that this car is a year old and was bought brand new and has been kept up to date on all services. This is my only source of transportation to school and work, having to pay for a vehicle I can no longer drive is unacceptable. Granted a rental was given but not what I am paying my hard earned money for. I was informed that if another accurance was to arise then the engineers will have to be notified and my car again will be turned in for a undetermined amount of time. I just feel like this is a horrible issue that needs to be looked into further then just being dismissed as a random event. This situation has left a bad taste in my mouth over all, I pay a lot of money for something I can not enjoy. More

Both times we have found exactly what we were looking for and at the price point we were wanting for our budget. Both times this was accomplished by our salesman John Little and with the help of Crystal Sanders listening to exactly what we wanted. Many times salespersons try to sell you what they think you should get. John Little listened to what we wanted and showed us exactly what we asked for. This is why we bought 2 new Ford Escape Titanium from Five Star Ford and will go back to him 1st for any future car buying needs. I would also like to add that David Hill in the finance office showed us exceptional customer service and was very respectful of our time. In conclusion I would say that Five Star Ford has hired some exceptional people to take care of their customers and I highly recommend. More
