I was shown a 2018 Honda CR-V and it was love at first sight. On the 8th of February 2022, I went to purchase a 2018 Toyota Rav4 after totaling my 2018 Mercedes GLA 250 4 MATIC. Now, on the 12th of February 2022, I called and spoke with one of the managers there and Toyota Rav4 after totaling my 2018 Mercedes GLA 250 4 MATIC. Now, on the 12th of February 2022, I called and spoke with one of the managers there and told them that I don't want the car. He said, “Ma'am, when you sign a contract the process cannot be reversed. It is just like getting cable for your home, you can't get out of it". Now, I am aware that contracts can be breached and with documents I received on the day of purchase states that. BUYER'S REFUSAL TO PURCHASE : "If I fail to accept of Motor vehicle within five days after I have been notified that it is ready for delivery, then I understand that any deposit which I have made with this order, whether by cash or by another motor vehicle turned in for trade, shall be forfeited to you and be kept by you and at your option shall constitute liquidated damage for my breach of this agreement". Now, I am not trying to be rude or anything, but, this egregious! The poor customer service along with lack of understanding of humanity, I have found to be preposterous. This is the world we live in. Cold hearted Humans with characters like a consuming fire of toxification. Like, who are you to have the audacity to tell me that I can't get out of a contract? Are you God? Do you know how hard I've worked to have a credit score over 700? How are you going to tell a black folk that she can't "get out the contract"? It is like you are imprisoning me. But, I refuse to be held down to your bondage. I WILL NOT REPOSSESS A VEHICLE THAT I HAVE NEVER DRIVEN OR TAKE HOLD OF !!!! More

I worked with Omar Rivera. He was a joy. He spoke softly....no frenzied sales pitch...was polite and attentive to my needs. He answered all my questions and never pressured He was a joy. Since this was my first car purchase on my own (my husband always did this but is ill now and I am 72 years old), Omar was the perfect choice for me. The only problem I found was that so many people were in the store buying cars that the wait time for action took longer than I would normally liked, but I guess if so many buyers choose Hartford Toyota Supercenter, I made a good choice of dealerships.
