My time speaking with Herb Chambers Honda was a very mixed bag. In person, I found the dealership to be very clean, professional, and friendly. When I went for a test drive, the sales agent was very ple mixed bag. In person, I found the dealership to be very clean, professional, and friendly. When I went for a test drive, the sales agent was very pleasant to speak with, however the test drive experience itself was miserable and I had to go to a second dealership to get a better feel for the car (we basically leisurely went down the street stuck in traffic, turned around, and came back to the dealership). However, when I grew more interested in the vehicle I decided to give them another chance and started speaking with their Internet sales agent Amanda, who was very pleasant. I contacted the dealership several times for a price over 2 months. Each time, they were anywhere from $500-$1000 higher than the next worst, not next best, number I had. The East Providence dealerships in general I have found to be some of the highest in the area, but when I get such offers I tend to just move on. After all, maybe that's what car buyers in that area are willing to pay, so who am I to argue? I checked back one last time over Labor Day weekend and their numbers were still not the best. I'd say it was about $800 higher than my next worst offer. I finally called them on it just to see whether this was an attempt to start high and if there was room to negotiate, and the response I got from Michael Hiraldo was "You must be mistaken, $24,980 is the invoice price." This was really disappointing. It was clear I knew what I was talking about, so to just blatantly lie to a customer about invoice price today's market where numbers are available via a 5 second Google query is what gives car salesmen a bad reputation. Overall, I can't definitively say if this is a good or bad dealership if you're not as price sensitive as I am. Maybe a better deal can be negotiated in person and they're not as big on Internet sales as some other dealerships. I would say it's at least worth shopping around a little as Hondas in particular are easy to cross-shop since they sell standard models without options and there are a number of Honda dealerships in this area. We've bought all our Honda's from Herb Chambers and their service has always been excellent. This was our first visit to the Seekonk location and it was just as grand as our purchases in Boston. and their service has always been excellent. This was our first visit to the Seekonk location and it was just as grand as our purchases in Boston. Brain Delsesto couldn't have been more helpful and courteous during the process. He listens attentively, processes what you say, then helps you with your issue. If he is not sure, he will not take a guess like a lot of egotistical salesfolk do, but instead will seek advice and answers from his peers who might have a different "take" or better idea. He doesn't wear his baseball cap backwards and that gives him points right there, but I digress. We're quite happy with our 2011 Honda CRV and got what Brian called a "stupid" price on it (I guess "stupid" is the modern word for "tremendous" or "ridiculous"). In conclusion (long review, this), Herb has it over Boch. If you wander down to Seekonk, stop in and see Brian Delsesto. He won't "steer" you wrong (heh, heh...ahem). And have some ice cream. More

Brian DelSesto, was our sales consultant and he was terrific to deal with. From his initial welcome to the dealership, during the test drive, through the entire purchase process, and ultimately when taking delivery just a couple of days later, he was a consummate professional every step of the way and made the entire process easy and painless. Emilio Navarro, our Business Manager, was great to work with as well and thoroughly answered all of my questions as far as the business side of the transaction was concerned. As far as the vehicle itself, what can I say - I LOVE this car - in fact, I make up excuses now just so I can take it out on errands! The car is in pristine condition, I got a great deal and I couldn't be more pleased with my investment. I will definitely return to Herb Chambers and to Brian DelSesto again when it's time for our next vehicle. More

Everyone drives a Honda, dad, mom, sister, etc. With the help of my father and my family's car dealer, Brian DelSesto, I was able to find quiet literally the perfect car for me. During my personal experience, Brian devoted all of his time to me and my dad and made sure that we were both taken care of and satisfied with the purchase. Being a 21 year old college student (and a picky female) I was able to find the car that suited me within literally a matter of minutes. The process of finding the car I wanted, having it registered and inspected was such an easy and efficient process. Brian even went down the road with me to the Nissan dealer to have the car inspected (because I needed to have the car inspected in Rhode Island). Additionally, the used car had a little bit of paint from the road that somehow got on the bottom of the car from the previous owner, and Brian put me in contact with a guy who was able to buff that out at no charge. Overall, My family and I have had the best car buying experiences at Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk with having Brian DelSesto as our go-to-guy. More
This is my second purchase from Dean Morrissette at Herb Chambers Honda of Seekonk and I am nothing less then impressed with the service and attention I received. I bought a civic from Dean 3 years ago and outgrew it. My immediate instinct when I decided to get a new car was to just call up and see if by chance he was still working there. Imagine my surprise when they said yes. The girl I spoke to on the phone was wonderfully helpful and took down my information and he called back within 15 minutes. He immediately remembered who I was and it was like two old friends who had lost touch. I told him I wanted to look into purchasing a 2013 accord EX-L and he assured me that he would help me every step of the way. When we met up the next day to look at cars he found the exact one I wanted and we took it out for a test drive. During the test drive Dean was extremely knowledgeable in all the features of the car and explained them to me in detail without overwhelming me with technical jargon. I was very happy by the time we got back and knew right away that I was going to purchase this vehicle. Dean helped me get everything in order and get the best possible deal on my trade. What I loved was that yet again I was getting a no pressure experience when dealing with him and the other staff. Finally it came time to do the financing which I hate since you get bombarded by someone who is trying to up sell you on ridiculous options and features that you just don't desire. Again I was pleasantly surprised when I met Bill Panaccione. He did the typical talk of some add ons that were available such as lojack, simmoniz, and a few other things, but he wasn't overly pushy which I appreciated. He was great to work with and got me in and out in an acceptable amount of time. I opted to pick the car up the next day so that they could take their time detailing it and get it inspected for me. I got there the next day and found out that there was an issue beyond anyone's control which caused them to not be able to inspect the car that day. Dean understood that Seekonk is a bit of a drive for me so he offered to let me get the car inspected myself and I can send him the bill. Talk about good customer service! I am still very happy with my car and just as happy with the car buying experience I had. I can't recommend this dealership and Dean enough. I can say without a doubt that they have a customer for life! Thank you all so much. More
