Jason was very helpful as well and patient with walking me through the ins and outs of the vehicle. Caleb was easy going, approachable and very helpful with all of the questions we had as well. Salesman was a liar!! I went to Lincoln with my son, looking for a Kia Sorento. I had seen one in Grand Island and wanted to compare prices. One of the requirements was a 3 I went to Lincoln with my son, looking for a Kia Sorento. I had seen one in Grand Island and wanted to compare prices. One of the requirements was a 3rd row seat (like the one in Grand Island) which I told the salesman, Kevin, more than once. I found one I liked and asked about the 3rd row seat. He said it came with one but it was basically more for little kids because of the room andI i said that's fine, I only want it for when i have my grandkids. He said just pull down the straps and the 3rd seat comes up. I didn't look at it cause I believed him...I bought the Kia and then 4 days later I needed the 3rd row seat. When I went to pull it out, I realized the vehicle didn't have that seat!! My husband asked where the seat was and I said it was supposed to be RIGHT HERE!! So, on Monday morning I called the Honda dealership and was told it was too late to cancel the contract and that I would have to speak with Kevin, who was on vacation till Wed. When I called back on Wed he yelled and yelled so loud, I had to pull the phone away from my ear. My coworkers could hear Kevin screaming at me that he was not a liar. He said that he stored blankets from my old car where the 3rd seat should have been in front of my son. -I was removing other items from my old car and was not at the Kia. It wasn't until I needed the seat that I found the blankets. My Son was not the person buying the car, I WAS!!! He should have showed ME and I would have known then that the Kia didn't have the seat that I required and was told existed. Kevin said that he didn't even know that the Kia could have a 3rd row seat. Yet, he yelled at me that he had been in the business for 30 years. Shouldn't he have known????I AM NOT HAPPY!!!!! I am now stuck with a vehicle that does not serve the main purpose for which I had bought it! More
Praying to purchase the right car works! We had been on the lookout for a used Honda Accord for about 6 months. Our Honda sales guy, Greg Hoag, had our parameters and was keeping his eyes ou We had been on the lookout for a used Honda Accord for about 6 months. Our Honda sales guy, Greg Hoag, had our parameters and was keeping his eyes out for the right car. This would be our 5th Honda purchase from Greg, so we were extremely comfortable with him and knew he would do right by us. We had strict parameters: 5-7 years old, low miles (preferably under 50,000), excellent condition, and of course, for a fair price. This would be a reliable car to send our son to college in, and get him through the next 4-6 years -- until he can buy his own car :-) Unfortunately, no cars that met our wish list were coming in to the dealership. We were running out of time, and began searching for Honda Accords on-line and at other dealerships. We eventually found a used 2009 Honda Accord at another dealership, and made what I'm sure they considered a low-ball offer. They counter-offered by taking $300 off their list price. So we left. The next week, we went back to that same used car dealership and upped our offer by $500--they still wouldn't work with us on what we felt was a fair price. We just didn't feel good about this deal, so we delayed it by saying we wanted to think about it and had some errands to run. "Now what?!" So my husband called Greg Hoag at Honda of Lincoln and left him a message to call us back. I said, "This is a big decison, we're going to have to pray about it." So Kevin grabbed my hand while we were driving thru Lincoln, and prayed for God to steer us in the right direction as we make this major purchase. We were continuing to run errands when Greg Hoag called us. We were just a few blocks from Honda of Lincoln, so we swung in to visit. We explained to Greg that we were getting near to making a deal for a Honda Accord elsewhere, but we just didn't feel great about it. But unless he could come up with some options for us, we may have no choice. Greg said, "wait here," and went back into the Service bay area. A few minutes later, he came back and said "come with me." So we followed him out to the Service bays, where he showed us a 2010 Honda Accord that was jacked up, tires laying beside it, hood up, all dusty..."so what do you think? We just got this in trade yesterday and we're still going through it and cleaning it up?" We looked beyond the disarray and thought it was a beautiful car -- maybe a little too nice for a young man to take to college! Greg made us an amazing deal and we feel so good about this purchase. We are a loyal Honda family, and we appreciate the integrity and flexibility of this dealership, and consider Greg a friend who helps us with our auto purchases. Also, based on how everything just fell into place, I feel God set this in motion and I have a peace about the purchase that just was missing when we were looking at another dealership. More
Easy going and efficient! Mike O'Donnell and Chad Erwin both helped my wife and I buy a car at Honda of Lincoln. We drove fifty miles to look at a Honda Odyssey. Both of these guys were very efficient in time and information without any pressure. It felt as though my wife and I were given the chance to weigh the information and make up our own minds. Both of these employees were professional, personable, and friendly. The experience would have been much less enjoyable if they had only been professional, and I never thought I would say that about buying a car or car salesmen. Great Price, Great Salesman, Great Dealership! My wife and I stopped in at Honda of Lincoln about a week ago just to test drive a Honda Insight. After 2 years of owning 2 suv's we decided that 18 My wife and I stopped in at Honda of Lincoln about a week ago just to test drive a Honda Insight. After 2 years of owning 2 suv's we decided that 18 MPG's just wasn't realistic anymore. Estevan Parra was the first salesperson that we met at the dealership and his courtesy and professionalism, as well as his knowledge of the Honda Insight helped us seal the deal. The fact that Estevan was able to answer the barrage of questions about the car during our test drive helped me feel confident that a hybrid would be the best route to go. After sitting down to discuss our trade in and financing, Estevan led us through the process of purchase and the dealership's financing officer processed our paperwork and each portion of the purchase process was handled professionally and with very little added pressure to purchase any add-ons that we were not interested in. Honda of Lincoln, Estevan, and the financing department were great to work with and the full vehicle detail as well as an explanation of the car's most basic systems before I left the lot tells me that those who work in this particular dealership take pride in their work. We plan to return our Insight to the dealership for maintenance/oil changes when necessary. Oh, and the free WiFi, coffee and cookies definitely will come in handy should we find ourselves needing any service on our Honda. All in all I would say it was an A+ experience! More

Sales consultant Scott Sweeney could not have been more professional and awesome. I have bought lots of vehicles in my life and this was the very first experience I have ever had where from beginning to end, completely stress free. I came onto the lot not exactly sure what I was looking for. I had a few things that I had to have and a couple things that were deal breakers for me. Scott Sweeney came to assist and was awesome from the start. Not one moment did he pressure or give any pitches. Scott just listened to what I was looking for, made suggestions, walked me through them and let me sit/drive any and all that were near to what I was looking for and did it all with an excellent attitude and professionalism. Once I picked what car I wanted, I told Scott that I had to have two things or they were deal breakers. He stated he understood and thanked me for being so honest and upfront and told me he would do what he could. Scott then introduced me to Scott Barr. Yet another super awesome guy who took my info, and got me answer right away. I told him what I wanted to see, and not only did Scott Barr deliver, he did more than I asked for. These two guys were exactly what everyone should experience when buying a car. They showed me everything I wanted to see, they gave me everything I wanted and then some. Because of the experience I got from these two guys, from now on I will only buy from Honda of Lincoln and I will tell all of my friends and family about my experience with them. Used car purchase Walked in, inquired about a car. 5 minutes later I was able to take the car for a test drive for as long as I wanted. After returning the car, said I would think about it, no pressure. Emailed the salesman back, very responsive to phone calls and emails. Talked about price of the vehicle and trade in. Came to an agreement fairly quickly. Finance was smooth and quick. The people I dealt with were very cordial and seemed to care about my perspective and what I wanted. A very relaxed experience, which cannot often be said when going through the process of buying a vehicle. Well done! I would certainly not hesitate to recommend purchasing a vehicle from Honda of Lincoln. More
