Warm, Energetic Dealership Developing Sports/Luxury Div. UNSOLICITED REVIEW: As a long-standing Porsche enthusiast (three 911s; two Macans in the past 10 years), I was initially hesitant to visit "Honda of T UNSOLICITED REVIEW: As a long-standing Porsche enthusiast (three 911s; two Macans in the past 10 years), I was initially hesitant to visit "Honda of Tenafly" to check out a pre-owned Porsche 911 Carrera S that was listed on their site (all 911s to date, I've acquired from authorized Porsche dealers). For starters, Honda of Tenafly is defined by a sort of "warm energy". And, I went in on Monday afternoon! Across the board, inside and out, the staff were friendly, courteous, invested yet not aggressive, and responsive. Specifically, my deal was handled by a small team: Mike Jaloudi, Mike Varela and Amir Kopman. I traded my current 911 Carrera S for a similar model they were selling. In short, I grew bored of my PDK transmission and sought a 7-speed manual 911 they had, which I might add, is not rare, but fairly uncommon. Honda of Tenafly intuitively acquired this Porsche realizing it was a gem. It may be a Honda dealership at it's core, but they are developing a high end sports/luxury sales division. The assortment of luxury vehicles they had on site was exquisite...almost identical to the type of inventory one would expect at a premium, boutique. But this is the CRITICAL DIFFERENCE between "Honda of Tenafly" and your average boutique dealership: At Honda of Tenafly, the sales team and leadership are down-to-earth and honest with pride that stems from family-driven heritage. I traded cars the very same day; drove home within 3 hours of walking in, all financials and paperwork nailed. No nonsense, plus a great deal. I'm a car enthusiast, so they didn't mind bringing me back inside the shop while they prepped my car and helped me transfer my belongings. The mechanic, Desmond (I believe his name is) was just as polite and warm as the staff up front: this is TRANSPARENCY. Junior, in Financials, had me thru the paperwork in no time...and I was on my way. I must've had 5 cups of coffee and three bottles of water (and they did offer me food, btw). The Owner, Norman Dorf, popped in to introduce himself and chat a bit. Turns out we have a mutual friend which made for even a greater sense of warmth. Last but not least...special thanks to Valerie in Sales...she set the stage for a great evening at the dealership by giving me a warm welcome...and the first of many cups of coffee! More

Hee was great to me and my wife. I asked to see the Pilot on Thursday evening and Hee stayed late to show me the car. In two days the car was clean and ready to pick up. On the Saturday I drove it off the Ho on Thursday evening and Hee stayed late to show me the car. In two days the car was clean and ready to pick up.
