Ide Volkswagen is a family owned and operated Volkswagen Dealership in East Rochester, NY. It all started in 1970, when Dick Ide opened his first dealership in Fairport, NY. In 1973 he added the Honda franchise. A few years later, in 1977, he moved both dealerships to Panorama Trail.
In 1984, Dick's oldest son, Mitch Ide, opened Mitch Ide's Ideal Chevy-Olds-Geo in Geneseo, NY. Along with his wife, Anne, they ran the dealership until selling it in 2000.
In 2007 Mitch took on responsibility for the Honda dealership from his father and has been involved in daily operations. When we say family owned and operated, we mean it. Mitch is the owner, Anne is the CFO, their son, Rich is the VP.

First time purchasing from Spencer and definitely not the last. I can see why he has so many great reviews. We met David Ruzhansky almost a year ago when we were looking to replace our 2006 Passat with a new vehicle. At that time we looked at new and used vehicles but nothing seemed to worked for us. We want looking to replace our 2006 Passat with a new vehicle. At that time we looked at new and used vehicles but nothing seemed to worked for us. We wanted a vehicle with more high end features. A few months later we visited again and David very thoroughly explained all the features of a 2022 Tiguan SEL R-Line that was coming soon. After expressing our interest David advised us to secure the vehicle with a down payment and within in a few weeks we became the proud owners of an amazing VW Tiguan. David was very professional, answering all our questions and making the whole car buying experience the best we ever had.
