The 2018 Acura MDX has a hesitation in the transmission when you start from a dead stop. My understanding is there is not a fix for this yet. What happens when my Acura Warranty expires and this issue is not corrected? More

Great Service, Honest Service Department I have been going to Jackson Acura for almost 4 years now and they are hands down the best Acura service department within the Metro Atlanta Area. The I have been going to Jackson Acura for almost 4 years now and they are hands down the best Acura service department within the Metro Atlanta Area. The Service Manager, Rodney Jones, manages a great service department and they are always transparent to what needs to be completed and DO NOT use scare tactics or a pushy sales approach to gain more business, like many other service departments do. If you have an Acura, this is the only service department you need to take your car to for peace of mind. Thank you Jackson Acura team! More

Unfortunately, they seem to have a problem retaining/hiring mechanics that can service our vehicles. I took my car in three weeks ago for service because the Navigation System was not working right. First they told me that it was a GPS antenna issue and that they would order the part. Maximum 1-2 days in the shop. Then I was told they could not get it fixed and that it would take longer. Finally Nick called me and stated that they had ordered the NAVI System to replace what seemed to be a bad unit. NAVI works now great, but... my car was at the dealer for two (2) weeks! Yes, Nick pulled a rabbit out of his hat in getting me a loaner because they did not have any available. Nick went above and beyond to serve his customer. But if they do not hire more mechanics, Nick bears the wrath of unhappy customers when it is not his fault. I have leased or purchased 7 Acura's since 1991. I know the product, and the service levels, but two weeks in the shop because of a NAVI issue is unreasonable. Please help Nick and the other Reps help us, the paying customer.
