This is the first car that I have purchased since 2014. I have to say that the sales environment has dramnatically changed. The first 4 salespeople I spoke with, seemed to have no interest in selling me a I have to say that the sales environment has dramnatically changed. I mean that in the sense that they took no interest in what my specific needs were and if they had a vehicle that would meet those needs. And I came in pretty educated on what I wanted and why. One salesperson, and I say that generously, after the test drive, when I told him that these were the specific things I needed for him to find out before I could commit to a purchase said "I'll look into that and get back to you". Shook my hand and walked away. But he never even got my contact information or gave me his. xxx?!?!?!?!? (Just so you know, I was preapproved well above the cost of the vehicle I was looking at and had told him before the test drive) Then we arrived at Jerry Ulm Crhysler Dodge Jeep Ram Dealership in Tampa, FL. We were greeted by Clint Harris. Friends, I have to tell you, this man is a Master at sales. And I don't mean "sales techniques" although he follows a process that any sales trainer would be poud of and award him top honors for his skills. Clint was completely authentic in his desire to get to know me, know what was most improtant to me, and went out of his way to find the right vehicle to meet my needs. He was patient, he was flexible, he was curious, committed... I can't give this man enough credit for how he did every thing he could to serve me as a potential client. This man literally spent hours with me, test driving vehicles, finding out what nuances I liked and disliked in the vehicles we were looking at. I shared with Mark at one point that if we were mystery shopping this dealership, Clint would have gotten the highest rating possible. He checked off every box of a true professional with a commitment to serving his clkient at the highest level. Just so I am clear, I get nothing for this endorsement, no referral fee, no commission.
