Communication with customers about what's going on with their vehicles subpar.. advisors are never at their desks and don't return calls in a timely fashion.. Ian was great, very attentive and you can clearly tell he's trying to address any concern you may have. We're happy with the car and think the purchase price was fair. I have three pieces of critical feed he's trying to address any concern you may have. We're happy with the car and think the purchase price was fair. I have three pieces of critical feedback: 1) Loose the armor all in your detailing process, the car I bought was like a slip and slide and I'm still trying to clean it up. 2) When reconditioning going cheap and buying no-name "Milestar" tires on a 3 row SUV I put my family in doesn't instill confidence - they are the only part of the car that touches the road. 3) The 3rd party warranty offered is from a company with a 1.7 star review on BBB - one quick Google and I knew to not touch it. This review is for Jim Butler's service department, not their sales department. Don't trust the service department. All indications are that they are trained to squeeze money out of you. I bought a bran their sales department. Don't trust the service department. All indications are that they are trained to squeeze money out of you. I bought a brand new Chevy Bolt from this Jim Butler in January, and on April 30 it took in a roofing nail. I brought it to a tire repair shop, and they were afraid to patch it because of the Michelin self-sealing technology. But the self-sealing is only meant to be temporary; it's still necessary to patch the tire. So I made an appointment at Jim Butler. Yet on the phone the person seemed unsure as to whether they actually patch tires. Are they so used to selling new tires that patching a tire is a rarity? Considering how most tire punctures can be patched, this made me very suspicious. When I arrived at Jim Butler, I made clear to the check-in technician that I did not want to replace the tire but to patch it. When I said that, he replied, "Well, with this self-sealing tires, if they aren't holding air then you usually have to replace them." I knew that was a lie, because the self-sealing technology is meant to be a temporary fix. It had indeed worked temporarily. So, I kindly informed him that on the web it's clear that these tires are patchable and are indeed patched all the time. After that, he seemed to look for a new strategy. He told me, "We mechanics have a rule of thumb. You place your thumb on the edge, and if the hole is under the thumb then you can't patch it." I was suspicious both because this test depends on the size of the thumb and because the other tire shop never claimed that the hole was too close to the edge. Admittedly, the hole is right on the line of ½", but it would make more sense to take the tire off and make sure that it's unpatchable on the inside. The question is not a mere matter of distance, since it is not on the sidewall, but only a matter of whether the inner surface is flat enough. I wasn't going to argue though. It was clear that they just wanted to sell me a new tire. I decided to take my tire elsewhere or just patch it myself if need be. A few days later, I discovered the official repair bulletin from Michelin, which made clear that patching the tire is actually just as easy as patching any other tire. I brought the tire back in to my local tire shop, showed them the bulletin, and they patch it for a mere $35. The hole was not too close to the edge, and the tire did NOT need to be replaced. Thanks for nothing, Jim Butler. More

I purchased my new truck from this dealership. My salesman was wonderful, and I have no complaints about him. Beyond that, it has been a less than acceptable encounter. A week after I purchased my My salesman was wonderful, and I have no complaints about him. Beyond that, it has been a less than acceptable encounter. A week after I purchased my new truck, I drove back to the dealership and hand-delivered my Vietnam veteran father's death certificate for my trade-in. Shortly after that, I began getting emails and messages saying that they had lost the death certificate and needed me to get another one for them. Death certificates are not free, and who wants to keep seeing their father's death certificate over and over? So after getting multiple threatening emails with the finance person telling me that they were going to take legal action against me and also that they were going to make me buy my old truck back, the salesman got involved and spoke with me respectfully, so I got them another copy. I then paid my sales taxes on my truck, expecting to get my title clean and clear. Wrong. Someone entered my VIN number incorrectly at the dealership, and the DMV sent me a message that there was a lien from another company on my new truck and that my name was not associated with that truck. Now the GM called me and admitted that they messed up and wanted to offer me four free oil changes and four tire rotations. I declined this because I had already gotten the first oil change done at the dealership, and it took 5 hours to change my oil. I told the GM that I declined that offer because I was changing my own oil. The GM told me that he was going to call me back the next day and make things right. I have not heard back yet. That was almost a week ago. I find it disturbing that I can not find the finance person on this list to rate. It makes you think that they have had issues with him before and do not want negative reviews of him. The persons name that was sending me the emails was JOSEPH JULIAN. This whole transaction has left me questioning trying out a chevy. I have always been a Ford guy, and this will be my one and only interaction with this dealership and maybe General Motors. I would not recommend anyone go to this dealership. I have considered taking legal action due to the fact that I signed paperwork telling me that I would be able to get my title clean and clear, and that has not been true. I also think that offering me four oil changes was a kick in the teeth. I understand that he was trying to offer something for the headache, but an oil change or four is not going to sway my negative views on how poorly this situation has been handled. I was under the impression that this dealership took pride in the way that their customers are treated and I feel that this was all just a show. With how much vehicles cost now a days I feel like there should be better customer service. I know that in my position if I were to treat people like this, I would no longer have a job. Finally after almost 6 months I received my title in the mail. I never heard anything from the dealership after this. Save yourself the headache and go to another dealer. More
