Truck has major transmissions issues that I'm quite sure they already knew about before the sale of the truck. Truck drove fine during the test drive, but within 2 days transmission shifted very rough and noises were present. After doing further research this particular model and others of that year had major transmission issues from the build. Also had signed paperwork of activation of OnStar and its explanation which never happened. Will be reaching out to General Motors and upper management of the Jim Ellis Dealership. (Update) Vehicle needs a transmission. Have called multiple times and left messages for the general manager to contact me about a possible resolution. No response. Will be contacting the BBB as well. Helpful & Attentive Sean has handeled my service appointments for the last year. He is always upbeat, helpful and attentive to my schedule. No games I brought them my research and was transparent about the deal I wanted and they didn't go running for the hills. It took over 3 hours for them to run diagnostics on my vehicle to determine what was wrong The service writer did not communicate effectively with me. It took over 3 hours for them to run diagnostics on my vehicle to determine what was wrong with it. He never communicated with me at all until I sought him out after 3 hours to see if anything had been determined yet. This is absurd and very rude. This is not the first time I have had an identical experience at this dealership's service department. Apparently their definition of an excellent experience and mine are very different. They have little regard for their customer's time. I fault management for this sad state of affairs. No leadership tends to lend itself to poor quality service to customers. More
