I have been using this service center for over ten years. Something recently concerns me. They told me that I had a leak. The funny thing is that it was leaking for 1 day then stopped completely. This tells me that either the leak self sealed (which is very unlikely with the amount it leaked that day.) I think a more likely cause is that when filling it up oil was likely spilled. If unintentional then this isn't a big deal, besides helping techs be more communicative/ honest. If intentional could mean technicians are falsely cross selling diagnostics under false pretenses. Chad had great communication leading up to the sale. We drove from Idaho to purchase a brand new 2024 Pilot Elite. These conversations explained how I was relaxing my wife’s Honda Odyssey for the Pilot and has specific requests for the vehicle for my wife. Maybe I wasn’t 100% clear that the tile needed to be under both of myself and my wife, but from the conversations it was obvious. After the sale the title work only showed my name and we’ve been unable to get the vehicle registered under both me and my wife. The state of Idaho told me to request a correction of title and Chad offered to look into it, but has become unresponsive and refused to help. When I drop $40,000 cash for a vehicle and do a loan for the rest to spend around $60,000 you would assume that high quality customer service would be stepping up to able to fix something so easy and simple. We paid full MSRP with no trade in, a very simple transaction… and Ken Garff can’t help us get something so simple fixed? At the time of pickup, Chad walked us through the vehicle and used a buffing compound to remove some scratches. He promised he would send us the formula of it so we could use it in the future. I never got that… not a huge deal, but it’s nice when people do what they say they will do. Why would I ever want to purchase from Ken Garff again? Chad and Ken Garff we’re happy to take our money, but apparently didn’t care about much more than the money. More
