I visit Florida during the winter, have a 2016 KIA Soul as a second vehicle only as 47k in 9 yrs of use. Last year had some work done and replaced the cabin filter. This year I brought the car in for an o as a second vehicle only as 47k in 9 yrs of use. Last year had some work done and replaced the cabin filter. This year I brought the car in for an oil change and was told it needed a new cabin filter and sent a video of an awful dirty filter…but this filter is less than a year old/4k miles, no way it should be that dirty, so I believe my cabin filter wasn’t changed but charged $50…… When confronted with this the asst service manager agreed that it looks way too dirty for 4k of use of urban area driving….however the service manager Rachel disagreed and argued with me that this was possible….maybe if you live down 10 miles of dirt roads or in the Sahara desert….but not from urban area driving…..so over a $20 part….they have lost a service customer…… My customer service representative was fantastic….The service manager agreed…can’t say the same….
