At Lexus of North Miami our assistant service advisors/service operators provide a welcoming answering service which you can reach Monday through Friday 7:30am-6:00pm, Saturday from 8:00am-5:00pm and Sundays from 11:00am-4:00pm (appointments recommended). I had just bought this 2019 rx 350 from a Lexus dealer in Canada. Drive it to Florida and the brakes started to make a clicking sound (not grinding) when the brakes were applied. I called my friend at home (who has been a Lexi’s technician for many years) and he said it was probably a clip or something holding the brakes shoe. Your technician said I needed new rotars and pads! When I bought the car I asked specifically about the brakes and they said they had half a life left. I had you go ahead with the repairs simply to be assured for safety reasons, but I really feel like I was upsold. Your rep recommended changing my wipers for $120 (seriously). Obviously I did not go ahead. I have had my oil changed here twice and very comfortable and happy with your service but the brakes were too much! More
