OUR HISTORY Walt DeBoer founded Lithia Motors in 1946 as a Chrysler-Plymouth-Dodge dealership in Ashland, Oregon. Following Walt’s death in 1968, Walt’s son Sid along with Dick Heimann, grew the business to include 5 stores and 19 franchises in Southern Oregon. In December 1996, this collection of dealerships was transformed into Lithia Motors, Inc., a publicly traded company (NYSE stock symbol-LAD). We envisioned a company that would continuously grow, provide great customer service, and opportunities for employees. TODAY Lithia is one of America’s largest automotive retailers featuring most domestic and import franchises. Our stores serve urban and rural populations throughout the Western and Midwest United States. We are focused on providing customers with an honest and simpler buying and service experience. Ms. Lusiani, I'm not sure what happened through the sales process, if the sales staff was "pushy" you have my sincerest apology, we train our sales staff to be informative and knowledgeable, not pushy. As far as getting your truck scheduled for service, I see that David called at 11:48 am on Thursday, December 1st, attempting to schedule that visit for you. I don't know if you called him back on his cell or an alternate number? But going back to November 1st I only see one inbound phone call from the phone numbers provided in your record, and that call was on January 2nd at 8:11 am and the system shows no message was left. As the vehicle you purchased is covered by a 60 day/3,000 mile warranty, there is no reason we wouldn't happy to take care of it for you. I will reach out shortly by phone to make the arrangements as I see no pending appointment for you in the system. I'm sorry you feel as though we let you down, let's see if we can redeem ourselves. On Jan 2, a gentleman answered and took all my information and said all the managers were in a meeting. I called back around 11 and spoke with a female who tried to locate a manager but was unsuccessful. I was told she would put my message on a managers desk. Still no return call to this date.
