Ron, Thank you for taking the time to alert us of your concerns. We are human and we make mistakes, but when we do we assume responsibility for our mistakes, do whatever we can to mitigate the inconvenience to our customers, and then share the learning experience with the team so as to avoid making the same mistake again in the future. Having said that, please understand that certain Hyundai recalls allow us to just replace a part or download an update, and some recalls require an inspection first, and a vin-specific ordering process for the replacement part. We aren't quite sure why Hyundai requires the inspection first, but we think it might be done to keep any one dealer (most likely in major markets) from hoarding parts and getting an unfair advantage over their competitors. Please accept our humble apology. Hopefully you noticed that we filled your tank for the inconvenience we caused you.
