Martin Loeber immigrated to Illinois from Germany back in the 1920s. This was that land of opportunity, and he simply wanted to earn enough money to buy a farm back home in Germany. He started by selling Chevys in 1928, and quickly set his sights higher. He fell in love with the automotive industry, and just a few years later in 1936, he opened his first dealership in Downtown Chicago.
After 80 years, and two generations, Loeber Motors is still going strong, and we are proud to own this Mercedes-Benz, Sprinter, and Smart car dealership right here in Chicago.

Excellent car buying experience I am a car nut and have purchased many cars over the years. I can say without a doubt this purchase of a Mercedes was one of the best. The price and I am a car nut and have purchased many cars over the years. I can say without a doubt this purchase of a Mercedes was one of the best. The price and the trade in were very fair and the entire staff did everything possible to accommodate my needs and concerns. Ahmad was very helpful in every way, the manager was not the old fashioned "what's it gonna take to put you in this car" type (a deal breaker) but was eager to make a fair deal and be customer focused, even had a great sense of humor, The financial closer was fast and very efficient. A great experience that makes me a loyal Loeber customer. I highly recommend this dealership. More
