Just as a preface, my family has purchased 4 vehicle from the Lokey Group totaling approximately 125.000.00 dollars. I have had good service in the past but that was only oil/filter changes plus a front en the Lokey Group totaling approximately 125.000.00 dollars. I have had good service in the past but that was only oil/filter changes plus a front end alignment. I took my vehicle in for an oil change but was told I needed my brake rotors machined and installation of new pads. I got an estimate at that time of around $530.00. I made an appointment for 08/05. I dropped my vehicle off told them I would come back when it was completed. No sooner than arriving home (I live in Trinity, (I go there for the free lifetime oil changes) I got a text from the service advisor Janelle stating that I needed new rotors to the tune of an extra $400.00! After the shock somewhat wore off, I told her I had to think about it and would call back. Deciding that I was going to get a second opinion, I called back.to tell her no on the work but was told she was “going to be on a call for quite a while” so I conversed with another advisor. I told him I was not going to do the brake work. He then actually told me my brake job was initially recommended by the lube rack “junior” mechanic. I have worked in a car dealership (12 years) before and this would NEVER happen! As it turns out, a “master” mechanic was the one who nixed the scheduled repair due to the machining of the rotors. He said it would not be “in spec” This other advisor must be their closer because in giving all the reasons why I should go ahead with the work, I could not get a word in edgewise. I felt like I was talking to a used car salesman. I really thought I needed a shower! If this is the kind of treatment you want, be my guest. As for me, I never going back there. Epilogue, I found a reputable repair shop that would complete the same work for much less and they were recommended to me by a friend. More

I brought my car in for the first “free” oil change and detail.Told them I had a parking light out which was indicated on the dashboard. Also-told them I was headed out on a road trip and wanted them to check the car out to make sure it was up for travel. They told me the free oil change was $80. I asked about the free one and then they gave it to me. They didn’t clean the car as promised and when I asked why they said I had to have asked for it. They didn’t fix the light and the dashboard indicator that shows the bulb is burned out is still on. Didn’t give me confidence that they had really checked the car over. I’m cheap-lol-so I will return for my next free oil change and hope for the best. I was really pleased with my experience with buying the car from Lokey so I will give them the benefit of the doubt and try again next time. More
