The buying experience was great and the team actually bought me a cake and flowers when I came to get my new car. They also took the time to walk me through all the setup options - the personal attention was unbelievable! This has been the best experience and a birthday I will never forget. More

Terrible Experience **Buyer Beware** I usually don’t take the time to write reviews. However, I feel obligated to share my experience with Mercedes Benz of North Olmst **Buyer Beware** I usually don’t take the time to write reviews. However, I feel obligated to share my experience with Mercedes Benz of North Olmsted (Bernie Moreno – Rafih Auto Group). I purchased a 2017 CPO C300 coupe (38K miles) in December 2018. I live in Maryland and decided to purchase the vehicle out-of-state trusting the CPO promise. The sales experience was top notch. However, the post-sale experience has been a nightmare. After purchasing the vehicle, I (1) requested a copy of the vehicles CPO certificate + repair records during the certification process and (2) made the dealer aware of the vehicle making a squealing noise while braking, but I could not get in touch with my salesman. He would ignore emails, phone calls, voicemails, you name it. He went so far as to answer my call once, put on a phony accent, and act as if he could not hear me…screaming “pardon” in a southern accent and giggling in the background. I gave up communication with him and reached out to a field manager (Bill Schwark). I informed Mr. Schwark of my requests. He told me that my salesman was no longer employed at the dealer. Mr. Schwark also promised to email me the documentation that evening, but assured that my brakes were squealing due to the weather that time of year (January). He said (verbatim), “everyone’s brakes squeak this time of year.” He suggested that I take the car to my local MB dealer and get back in touch with him as we work toward a resolution. A week later….Mr. Schwark has not sent the documentation & further now he is unreachable. Even worse, I took the vehicle to the local dealer who says the vehicle needs new rotors and brake pads on both axles to the tune of $2300. What!?!? Not only did I just but this car, but I also bought it Certified Pre-Owned by Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted (Bernie Moreno – Rafih Auto Group). After trying to reach Mr. Scwhark numerous times to no avail, a receptionist took pity on me/my situation and suggested that I contact Mr. Helder Rosa, the Vice President of Operations. Mr. Rosa seemed to take a sincere interest in this issue. However, he asserted that the responsibility in fact lied with MBUSA. He promised that he would elevate the issue, get MBUSA involved, and work to get a resolution. Weeks passed and he would send me text messages/emails saying “Have you heard from MBUSA yet?”….to no avail. Finally, I personally reached out to MBUSA. My case was elevated to an Executive Referral Manager who explained that MBUSA is a neutral party that cannot make the dealer honor individual commitments to customers. However, they do accredit individual dealerships to sell Mercedes-Benz Certified Pre-Owned vehicles, making a case for an audit of this dealer's certification process. To date, I have not been contacted by any representative from Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted (Bernie Moreno – Rafih Auto Group) and I am making monthly payments on a vehicle that is not safe to drive. No doubt, this is a disappointing situation. However, it is incredibly disheartening to know that Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted (Bernie Moreno – Rafih Auto Group) simply does not care about customer satisfaction, or in the least, customer safety. Today, I am driving my 2003 CLK because it currently has a safer braking system than my 2017 C300 CPO. Moral of the story: Buyer Beware! Especially if you are contemplating purchasing a vehicle out-of-state from Mercedes-Benz of North Olmsted (Bernie Moreno – Rafih Auto Group). Buyer Beware! I sincerely hope this review helps a fellow consumer! Was impressed that i was able to get a mercedes To just have faith. Though i was and still very displeased that i had to put my own license plate on amd that it didnt even have screws.
