Mike Murphy Ford Inc - Service Center

It took almost three weeks to get an appointment. When I dropped the car off at 7:30am Monday morning, that process itself was very easy, but nothing was said about how long I could expect the car to be the dropped the car off at 7:30am Monday morning, that process itself was very easy, but nothing was said about how long I could expect the car to be there - all day, all week etc. I called end of day to check on it, techs had gone for the day. The following day, I called again and whoever I spoke to said he didn’t know of the parts were in or what was going on with it and he would have my technician call me after lunch. I asked that same gentleman what was even wrong with it, as I hadn’t even heard that much. He recommended I wait for my service tech to call me. I revenues a call shortly and was told it was the clutch. Said it may be done late that day but possibly next day. I did receive a call at the end of the day advising it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. I couldn’t get a ride to the dealership until later that day, pickup process was easy. I have driven the car only in town thus far, and the transmission issue does appear to be fixed. However, I will be calling the service department Monday because the car is idling extremely rough. This car used to barely make any sound or movement if it was sitting still. I don’t know if something was damaged in the process of replacing the clutch or something was missed, but it never made this sound or felt the way it feels now while idling. I have a long trip to make in two weeks and I need my car to be free of any issues. More
