Blind sided I went in looking to trade my truck for a more fuel efficient vehicle. When I arrived at Phil Long of Denver, I knew what car I was looking to purchas I went in looking to trade my truck for a more fuel efficient vehicle. When I arrived at Phil Long of Denver, I knew what car I was looking to purchase. When I showed up, I walked around for a good 10 minutes and no one said anything to me. Finally Joe asked me, if I needed help, so I started dealing with Joe. He told me that the trade value was going to be 3K less then what I owed (I owed 26K, they only gave 23K and I saw them sell my car the next day for 32K. RIP OFF ARTIST!). I kinda realized that a trade wasn't going to give what I wanted for it, but figured I can cover that on the purchase price. I jump into a 2011 white Dodge Journey, the engine sounded funny when I test drove it but Joe ensured me that it was ok. He told me that they did a full inspection on the car and it's in good condition. I also noticed a dent in the side of the vehicle. After i asked him about the dent, he told me that it was going to get worse if they tried to fix it. I have had this vehicle for three 5 months and I put 6K miles on it (it already had 75K for a 2011). I have had to do a complete brake job because my shocks where going out, I had to change my shocks, and now I am dealing with my viscous coupling. I got the aftermarket warranty to make sure I don't have to deal with the payment of fixing these types of things. However the after market company Phil Long of Denver uses, is by far the worst company to deal with. Just to get my viscous coupling covered, they told me that they didn't believe the mechanic that I used and made an inspector come out and check it out. The inspector didn't even know what the problem was. Now my car is not driving right and I was told by the warranty company, that I needed to take my car to a dodge dealership to get it fixed. This was after I haven't been able to use my car for three days waiting on this inspector. DO NOT GO TO PHIL LONG OF DENVER!!! There are better dealership that won't blind side you with a crappy car just to make a dollar. More

The car buying process was smooth, bought the vehicle for what I think is a good price, and was able to trade in my current vehicle. After spending 3 hours at another dealer just to get a price, I told myself I would not step into another dealer without having the deal mostly worked out. Andy and I communicated back and forth via email and text messaging which is my preferred method of communication as I spend all day on the phone at work negotiating, and the last thing I want to do is spend more time on the phone. I commend Andy for working with me over text and email, which might be frustrating to other salesmen. Everyone at the dealership was pleasant, offering me help, water or popcorn. I was in and out in probably 2-2.5hours all said and done, which is pretty fast. A couple of days after purchase, someone from Phil Long called and offered a free class to learn how to use my new "Ford Sync" system, which I thought was pretty cool, like how Apple offers free classes on how to use your new Mac. Phil Long also provided 30k miles of free oil changes which I plan on taking advantage of, so I hope the great service continues as I put more miles on the truck. The only small critique I have is that I financed through Ford Financial, and no one during the buying process explained when my first payment would be due, and how to set it up, so I will have to contact Phil Long to make sure I don't miss my first payment. More

He was very helpful and very knowledgeable on the workings on my new Ford Escape. He went over everything on the car with me and I felt very comfortable driving the car when I left the dealership. He handled everything very professionally from start to finish. I will buy my next Ford from Phil Long as long as you keep people like Nameer on board! More
