Poor Service Purchased my GMC Acadia Denali new from this dealership. Purchased an extended GMC Warranty at the time. Extended the warranty because the time, not Purchased my GMC Acadia Denali new from this dealership. Purchased an extended GMC Warranty at the time. Extended the warranty because the time, not the mileage was running out. Took the vehicle into the Service Department to check out the problems I was experiencing. Rough Ride, Fluid leaking from left side of vehicle, advised the tech than the fluid was clear and I thought it was shock fluid. When the vehicle came back from the shop the Tech advised me that the shocks were OK, that the vehicle needed a complete brake job, including fluid flush at a cost of $590.00. I advised them that I would get a second opinion. They charged me $58.XX for the inspection. I took the vehicle to a trusted mechanic and ask him to check it. He advised that the rear brakes were very good. The front brakes were worn and would need to be replaced soon. I advised him to replace the front brake pads. I then ask him to check the Shocks and Struts on the front. He advised that the left strut was leaking and needed changing. I advised that I had extended warranty and would take the vehicle back to the dealership. I drove the vehicle back to the dealership and told them what I had done, I then told them the mechanic had inspected the struts and shocks on the front, and found the left side leaking, The young lady that I spoke to advised that they would check the struts and shocks, They did and found the left strut and shock to be leaking and that they would need to send a picture to the warranty people to get approval and she would do that immediately. I waited two days and called the service dept. and was told that they had not heard from the warranty company. I immediately called the warranty people and they advised that they had not received the claim on my vehicle.????????, I asked the claims department if I could take my vehicle elsewhere for repairs and he advised me that I could. I took the vehicle to COGSWELL Motors and they had the claim approved in one day, and repaired the vehicle in two days, which one was waiting for parts to arrive. Miss informed then called a liar I told them from the very start I didn't want to be changed anything at all. They did not tell me there was a fee to even just look at my truck and I I told them from the very start I didn't want to be changed anything at all. They did not tell me there was a fee to even just look at my truck and I was never informed that there was. And the manager and the worker both told me that I should of know. That it was commen sense. That's not how thing are suppose to work. The worker should of informed me from the start that I was gonna be charged a fee and he didnt. The they refused to release my keys untill I paid. The manager Adam said he would never believe a customer over his worker. But it's just unbelievable that they said I should of know about the fee and the worker had the nerver to bring up my job and ask where I work and would I work for free. That was very rude!!! More

Purchase and first service Salesman Gary Cooper was great. Service department so far .... immediately had to take this 16,000 mile truck in for transmission service, very nice l Salesman Gary Cooper was great. Service department so far .... immediately had to take this 16,000 mile truck in for transmission service, very nice loaner vehicle but they did not even start on my truck on the appointed day. GM demands that a transmission flush protocol be followed prior to approving torque converter replace, time will tell on this scenario but I am a little anxious concerning transmission longevity. i suspect the previous owner traded it for this reason. never had a bad GM vehicle, hope this is not the first. More
