Service is good only bc of the staff. The wait time for completion of a service is longer bc of a shortage but the interaction with the staff helps considerably. I like that you have women in the service dept as they are easier to talk to than some of the men. The follow/through with return calls is a little slow but I again think it’s do to people maybe doing two jobs at once. More
If there was a negative star I would give it to these this dealership. Avoid this place at all cost. I should have taken it to Fontana Hyundai where I purchased it but PH is closer. I took my Daughters Elantra for its first scheduled service along with the extra 2nd FOB key notice that it was available. Keep in mind that this was in March. First, I took the offer to do the $100 extra service package and the free oil change. When I got my car back the schedule maintenance light was still showing. I asked for them to clear it. The service guy was not able to clear it. He took it to the back for a tech to clear it. After another 30 minutes they could not figure it out. They said that I have to come back to schedule an appointment and they may need to take apart the Dashboard and replace it??? I took it home and with careful navigation I was able to clear the maintenance light myself. Really?? Second, they said that they will order the 2nd FOB key and will let me know. This was in March. I get NO message from them and it’s now July. I follow up, they said we see you requested this in March but they didn’t order it from Parts Department. So they do the “let me get you over to part” and transfer me. I speak to Parts and they tell me that it will come in this week and will let me know. Nothing into next week from them. I call parts to follow up and they said “oh yea it’s here”, and they say the “let me get you to service to schedule you for the Programming”. Wow?? I finally get scheduled into August for a Saturday Appointment and surprisingly get the Programming done. I will never go back Puente Hills Hyundai. These guys should be ashamed of themselves. I’m letting everyone I know not to go here!! They are so under staffed, it’s ridiculous. Be prepared to wait to get your anything you need appointments, check in,parts, service, car wash…completed. I can’t give I bigger warning of NOT going here and to avoid Puente Hills Hyundai. And yes, corporate Hyundai will be notified of my experience. More
