We did have Highlander at another dealership that my wife liked with great pricing but the new car Wendy and the new car manager fought to find us a similar car at similar pricing. Very impressed with a FULL TANK of gas at delivery and a tin of chocolate cookies in the mail a few days after delivery. Went in today to pickup the license plates and service dept not only put them on quickly but also washed the car! Professional experience from beginning to end. AMAZING experience when buying my first car! Since I was 16 I have leased four different cars - so I figured it's time to actually buy a car. I went to so many different dealerships: Honda, Jeep, Subaru, etc., and when I walked into Rudy Luther Toyota, I was blown away with their friendliness and knowledge about cars! I had about two months left of my lease, so I wasn't looking to buy that day - but after I had such a great experience at Rudy Luther, I knew I wanted to keep my business at this dealership in particular. I met with Scott Smith and had informed him of the type of vehicle I was looking for when buying my first car. I told him everything I wanted in a car, color preferences, accessories, and he took me to the absolute perfect car - it literally sang to me when I first drove it. He was so informative during the test drive and answered all the questions I had. He was friendly and professional, not pushy whatsoever, and genuinely wanted to help me find the perfect car. Service completed within estimate During the most recent 30,000 mile periodic service about a year ago,, the mechanic recommended changing the rear bushings on my 2002 Camry. I was a During the most recent 30,000 mile periodic service about a year ago,, the mechanic recommended changing the rear bushings on my 2002 Camry. I was advised that this repair was not "critical' but if not done, a major expense could result in the future. During a recent oil change, the mechanic did a test drive and again recommended the need for replacing the bushings to provide a smoother less noisy ride over bumpy roads. He provided an estimate of the cost. I then checked this estimate on the internet and found that it was very reasonable. I just returned from having the bushings replaced and the cost was essentially the same as the estimate. My experience during 17 years of using Luther to do all repairs and maintenance on my Camry has been excellent. Lurther mechanics only recommend repairs that are needed right away and/or eventually. Luther keeps accurate records so that duplicate maintenance repairs are avoided! I keep similar backup records to assure myself that expensive periodic maintenance repairs are not done unless justified by subsequent mileage. As a result, although my Camry has over 166,000 miles on it, I am always comfortable that it will start and operate reliably during very cold winter periods or while traveling on long trips of 1000 miles or more. More
