Bait & switch. Mark handed me an initial quote for $125 to replace the battery & handed off the order to Tim. After 2 weeks of the car being in the shop ... I had t Mark handed me an initial quote for $125 to replace the battery & handed off the order to Tim. After 2 weeks of the car being in the shop ... I had to call & spoke to Tim who then said the quote for everything was $1600 & I declined all the other work & requested just the battery swap. I would deal with tires & wiper blades later, etc. After another week I had to go to the shop & ask Tim what was going on, & that's when he hit me with a new quote to swap out the battery of approximately$425. I asked what happened to the original quote of $125 & he broke into excuses. What choice did I have I needed my car back. Bait & switch. More
