What a blessing!! My truck needed a new axle seal, but I also needed to be at Moffitt for my Dad’s appointments. I was very grateful to get the loaner vehicle (a Trax) My truck needed a new axle seal, but I also needed to be at Moffitt for my Dad’s appointments. I was very grateful to get the loaner vehicle (a Trax) and made it to Moffitt in time. After Dad’s appointments he was too weak to get into his truck due to it’s height, but he was able to get into the Trax with our assistance. My gratitude for having that loaner cannot be overstated! It allowed me to provide Dad with a comfortable ride back to the rehab facility and gave him much less stress getting in and out of the vehicle. My own truck was fixed and ready for me when I returned to Stingray, with a nice lower bill than expected. What a wonderfully blessed day all around!! Dorinda, BJ, and the entire Stingray team, you have my sincere thanks and undying gratitude for always taking great care of us, but most especially for what you did for me, and my Dad, yesterday. Purchase of a Chevrolet Malibu Premiere I love the car. The sales person,Dave Mitchell and JC were both exceptional. The financial officer was a complete jerk. Michael was ”outstanding” he was able to locate the vehicle I requested in just a few minutes and with the help of a finance manager. I had a fair price on this vehicle. Micheal understood the importance’s I needed to get this vehicle to my daughter, who is in college out of state. He worked with the fleet manager to arranged a pickup to have the vehicle shipped. Horrifying. Beware of this major dealer Stingray Chevrolet Purchased a 2019 Chevrolet HD3500 from Stingray in February of 2019. The truck has an emissions filter issue. This part is under warranty according to Purchased a 2019 Chevrolet HD3500 from Stingray in February of 2019. The truck has an emissions filter issue. This part is under warranty according to the manual. I initially brought it to another dealership to get repaired since Stingray is over 60 miles away. I purchased my vehicle from Stingray because I trusted and believed in them and what they advertise. Once I needed service help with my truck, what I received was a 45-day wait in their service parking lot and a 30-day threat to remove my vehicle from their property. This is from John Whaley the General Manager of Stingray Chevrolet. My truck still sits there now. They wanted $3000 for this part and agreed with the other dealer that the part is not under warranty even though it CLEARLY states that it is in the manual. I filed a complaint with the State of Florida. Stingray is refusing to fix my truck whether I pay or not. I was abused and disrespected by most employees in the service department. The Director of Service Justin told me if I do not like waiting I can tow my truck. Well, apparently this is what I have to do. Why would I buy any vehicle from Stingray? My warranty was voided by GM becuse they claim I was idling too much. I have several trucks. So I was able to use other trucks and also had to buy another truck to prevent my business from losing revenue. I am glad this was not my only truck. If it was, I may have lost my home, business, and family due to financial stress. I was not offered a loaner and had to take an uber home. This was a humiliating and hurtful experience for me. At this point in time I am at the mercy of the State of Florida. I was promised the part was in transit over 10 days ago. I am devastated. I called Action News and spoke with Jackie. I am hoping she can help me. More
