It started out great, but when it was time to buy, it was one thing after another in unexpected inconveniences and misportrayed information from the sales rep. There were several times when we asked question one thing after another in unexpected inconveniences and misportrayed information from the sales rep. There were several times when we asked questions (like a reflector getting fixed before driving away after purchase, windshield crack being fixed, title being mailed later and didn’t receive an answer multiple times, then were told it could be taken care of before we drove off, only to find out in the 11th hour that we’d have to come back 3 separate times to resolve each issue. The windshield guy ended up coming out to the house to fix, but we still made 3 trips back to the dealer to get things fixed and finalize the title. The sales rep didn’t seem to understand how off putting that was and didn’t really take ownership of the problem. Deflected, offered proof to of things we weren’t even concerned about, but never really tried to make it right. It felt like she made the sale and didn’t really care what happened after that bc she got her commission. Said that wasn’t her goal, but didn’t do anything to demonstrate otherwise. More

8 hours ago We had an appointment. We were there 20 minutes early. We were in line with at least one behind us. One person rushed in front of us. I tried to get a manager to care about this cutting line situation. He was rude, told us “ we can go elsewhere” and proceeded to be hostile as I asked to speak to the General Manager, and for senior management information , He yelled “ don’t threaten me “ ( which was absurd ) as I said to him, “ I am not of any sort , I am simply telling you I am going to contact management, That’s a fact “ He then refused us service . My wife took the day off; I travelled from out of town. They pulled my car out of line; we did not authorize such. He then continued outside to challenge me for us telling them they should not allow others to cut the line. We waited as did others patiently and don’t think others should race up to cut others whom waited patiently, the matter and his behavior was “asinine “as I told him and we are waiting for Subaru corporate to hopefully resolve. This is our third Subaru and have had many vehicles. Plus, I own a business Never have seen such lack of professionalism, over a prepaid new vehicle simple oil change of all things. More
I purchased an Outback from Lance in 2012 (still have it). It was a good experience so I contacted him and discovered he was now the Manager of New Car Sales. The fact that he is still at Subaru of Gwinn it). It was a good experience so I contacted him and discovered he was now the Manager of New Car Sales. The fact that he is still at Subaru of Gwinnett 14 years later sends a positive message about the stability and morale of the dealership. He referred me to Mathew who helped me find an Outback equipped the way I wanted and gave me a fair price with out a lot of unnecessary negotiations. Mathew was very professional, pleasant, and patient (couple in our late 70s) with us. Overall it was as pleasant an experience as possible, shopping for a new car. More
