When I arrived at Suntrup Nissan I was having a terrible day. I had already been to another nissan dealership, where I was treated very poorly, and I walked out.And I had also been to another dealership, ri day. I'm very disappointed with the customer service approach taken by the Service Manager, as well as the lack of EV knowledge on the part of the service advisors and the only EV service technician. There is a taken by the Service Manager, as well as the lack of EV knowledge on the part of the service advisors and the only EV service technician. There is a charge of $210 for 1 hour of diagnostic time and the technician spent an hour with my 2013 Leaf only to determine that my issue could not be resolved, there is no fix because the car has 2G internet which no longer exists. This should have been immediately recognized given the age of the car, no diagnostic time required. In this case, even though diagnostic time was spent, good customer service would have been to not charge the diagnostic fee for a problem that the dealership determined it could not fix. Thing is, there is a way to fix the problem. It took me 10 minutes on Google to find the fix, and after getting the car home it took me 5 minutes to implement the fix. Yes, I should have done the research before taking the car in for service, but based on the lack of knowledge and lack of empathy exhibited by the Suntrup Nissan service department I will not be going back there. More
The staff was friendly and communicative. Johnathan was eager to help. I appreciated his nonjudgmental demeanor. I had some extenuating circumstances with buying a vehicle and Johnathan was very receptive to my position. He definitely helped to ease some of my fears with the process. He displayed excellent costumer service and was overall a joy to work with. The only thing I wish was more clear was the financing. I was tired when I went to purchase this vehicle and I didn't think to ask some important questions of whole dollar amounts versus what is being tacked onto the monthly payment. And there are some fees that I am not sure what they are for. I failed to ask but I believe for the sake of full transparency when selling something a fee should be explained without the need to ask. Which was not my experience. Overall I did have a good experience. The costumer service was above and beyond but I feel a little like I was not given all the information I should have been given. More
