After my last oil change we had oil drip onto our garage floor, then within a week the alternator went out on our 2020 Ford F150. The mechanic told us there was oil on the alternator, which was probably th floor, then within a week the alternator went out on our 2020 Ford F150. The mechanic told us there was oil on the alternator, which was probably the cause of it shorting out, otherwise he's never seen a 4 year old Ford alternator fail. I can't prove it was due to the Tenvoorde Oil Change, but relative to the timing of the oil change, oil on the floor and failure of the alternator, suggests someone was sloppy with refilling the oil during the oil change. I came in for an oil change and the service tech cracked my oil pan and didn't install the splash guard back properly. I wasn't made aware of this until I found out, several days later, when there was a big my oil pan and didn't install the splash guard back properly. I wasn't made aware of this until I found out, several days later, when there was a big pile of oil on my garage floor. They fixed their mistake but this is now multiple times that a simple oil change hasn't been done correctly from them. More
