Everyone else was also courteous and friendly but inefficient. After an absurd dialog with the registration clerk about registering the new vehicle to our living trust (seems they had never encountered this before), the clerk forgot to get a signature on the title of the vehicle we were trading, didn't discover the error for several days, and then we got a call wanting us to drive back to the dealership (we live in another community) to sign the form. (Their mistake, our inconvenience??) We had ordered and paid for roof rails and carpets which should have been there at the time we took delivery of our new Highlander -- but we were informed those parts had come in but were installed on another vehicle, so now we have further delay and another trip to dealer (when we will also sign the title transfer on our trade-in). Yes, all were friendly and price was the best we could find in our area, but it seemed that at every step of the process we were waiting for someone to decide what to do next. We bought a new Hyundai Santa Fe a few months ago, and everything in that trade-in/new car purchase was prompt, efficient, and simple -- i.e. they had their act together. The Highlander now has 150 miles on it and is absolutely SUPERB -- we bought the right vehicle for our needs, but were less than impressed with the Toyota dealership! More

First Time Car Buyer and Introvert This was my first time buying a car. I thoroughly researched everything about buying a car but I was still extremely nervous about the process conside This was my first time buying a car. I thoroughly researched everything about buying a car but I was still extremely nervous about the process considering the terrible experience most people think of when having to deal with car salespeople. Luckily, Toyota of Cleveland gave us a much better experience than I think most people get when buying a car. Our sales guy wasn't overly pushy and was very friendly to us. The finance guy was also very friendly and helpful. The whole process took about 2 hours, so it wasn't as bad as I thought it was going to be. We came back several days later to sell our old car and got a much better offer than Carmax. So, I definitely recommend both selling to them and buying from them. Up until this point I had only owned American brand cars, but I will never go back. Toyota is so much better customer service wise. More
