It's a no pressure environment with honest people who are there to help you find the right car. I still can not believe how easy this was. I remember when I first walked in there looking to test drive the CX-5. Within in 2 minutes I was handed the keys and allowed to test drive the car I came in to see. No hassle. After we finished the test drive, he walked me through the various model types/trims/optional features and pricing. Victor was very knowledgeable and he answered all my questions about the car and the various model types, so I left that day feeling good about the encounter. Having dealt with other dealerships during the car buying process, this was refreshing. There was no pressure or dirty sales tactic to force a sale on me. Ultimately, I decided to go with the CX-5, so I came back for a second time and spoke to Victor again. He went through the options once more, I picked out the one I wanted, and I put down a deposit on one of the vehicles. After a few days to sort out the DMV registration and insurance, Victor called me and said that my car was ready for pickup. Now, you're not going to believe this, literally five minutes worth of paperwork to finalize the sale and I was out the door. Victor walked me over to my new vehicle, we went through the features one last time (per my request) and I drove off in my brand new car. I can not say enough good things about this dealer. No xx, no hidden fees, no pressure. The staff is knowledgeable and they are there to help you. They're not going to push you into something you don't want, and that type of honesty and integrity goes a long way with me. Came here from a fair distance away, since they did not seem to have any hidden charges ("dealer preparation fee", "document preparation fee", etc., as they are often cloaked in) - which we appreciate (in contrast with a few other dealerships that instantly turned us off), and respect Wantagh Mazda's honest and up-front business policy. In our experience there was not much room for negotiation on the asking price though (but that could also have been because they did not inflate it beforehand like others; we will never know for sure). Nonetheless, in our case, this being the best vehicle in its bracket available across a whole lot of dealerships that we had covered was a compelling factor. It was indeed a pleasure to work with our sales agent, Joe Bonavita. Very pleasant, very helpful and extremely knowledgeable. We highly recommend him to all potential customers. We have had the vehicle only for a few weeks now, but it looks to be in excellent shape based on the experience thus far.
