I went into the dealership for a basic oil change and tire rotation that is apart of my FORD service package and I could not get it done, the service department could not find the package which was on th tire rotation that is apart of my FORD service package and I could not get it done, the service department could not find the package which was on the My ford pass access and they wanted me to prove it. so I was forced to go to a different dealership that knew how to find it.. On October 21st I brought my 2020 Ford Ranger in to Wayne Akers for an oil change. I was also having trouble with the economy mode of the vehicle turning off when I came to a stop. I went to Wayne Akers because on Wednesday, October 19th I had an appointment at Al Packer Ford which I waited over a week to get and when I got there I was told there was nothing that they could do because they didn’t have any rental vehicles for me and I was told I would be getting a phone call when a rental was available. Why wasn’t I told this before I drove all the way there? The call back never happened even after I placed several phone calls back into that dealership. I will never use Al Packer again for service or buy another vehicle from them. Wayne Akers has come through for me two times now. I spoke with Daniel Abrams a service advisor on Friday the 21st to get an oil change and I explained to him what was going on with the ignition. He had a diagnostic test and then a deeper diagnostic test performed and he told me that I could bring my truck in on Monday, October 24th and he would take care of me and make sure that another test was done on the 24th. I received a phone call from Keana Barthelemy stating that I wouldn’t be able to have that service done because it would take a long time and I would have to wait a month to be able to have my vehicle looked at. I explained to her the situation I was in and that Daniel told me he would take care of me. I explained how I worked two jobs and I need my truck and it took me everything to coordinate to even bring it in there for Monday. Keana went above and beyond and she was able to get my truck the services it needed and my truck got fixed. I was told it can take up to 48 hours for this problem to be completely fixed with a new battery. My truck still isn’t turning off at every stop that I make. I must say with the way Keana handled this very difficult situation, I would give her five stars. I would have given five stars for the whole service but I don’t know for sure that the ignition is going to be doing what it should be doing tomorrow. I am leaving to go out of town and I know that after I return, I will not have time to write this review. More
