I have not yet bought a Volvo, but I have been in email contact with Mr D. Schumm and he has been very pleasant to deal with, always answering my questions promptly, even on his days off. I can assure you this has not the case with other salesman from other dealers, I am amazed how some can even call themselves salesman! I brought my truck in to replace the dead instrument cluster. They fixed it... But it took 3 days for them to even look at it when I had an appointment the first day. When i got it back the glove box was broken, and two box cutter blades were left in two different parts of the cab. I had a 5yo and dogs in it the next day. Take it back for a second chance to fix the brakes and glove box that they broke. I call, get a quote, make an appointment. They say it'll be done in under 2 hours. I drop it off, and 2 hours later they call to tell me it'll cost more than double what I was quoted, and it would take another 2 hours. I'm not interested in being taken advantage of. Also, they didn't fix the glove box. The original price quoted was already high, but the second was astronomical. DO NOT COME HERE.

I was looking for a specific car at a pretty low price point (and I had to go slightly used to get it), so they just didn't have a car that was a fit. But over the months I was hemming and hawing and shopping, Marquise was very helpful, patient, and a complete pleasure to work with. Next time I am in the market for a car, I will certainly be stopping at Safford.
Classic Bate and Switch - Not Born Yesterday
If I would give them 1/4 star, I would. I seen a truck (F350 King Ranch DRW) advertised on line and I placed a call to the dealership. Sarah answered my call and answered my questions. I told her that I was interested and I would work out a time when I could drive to the dealership to see the truck. Four days later (Monday) Sarah texted me and I texted back that I was looking to come to see the truck on Thursday between 6 and 7p. Sarah also ask me to let her know if their were any changes and I ask the same of her. Sarah also confirmed that the truck that I was looking at was still available (stock #CD40229). Thursday evening my wife and I traveled 2 hr. in heavy traffic and when we were just 4 miles away we received a text message and a phone call telling us that the truck was not there, that the owned of the dealership had it, but they had another F350 King Ranch DRW on the lot that I could look at and consider OR they could see what they see what they could for tomorrow nite. Friday night, rush hour traffic around Baltimore, are you joking?? Classic Bate and Switch.

I was in a bad spot and had been convinced by another dealership I had one option - to pay more each month for a car I didnt like. As I went to go unhappily accept the car, I decided to stop by Lexington park Ford and am so happy I did! I worked with Liam and he was great. He was knowledgable and also very considerate. He seemed very concerned about me and my happiness in the whole process, from how ling it takes and making sure I saw every car I wanted to see. He offered me options that another dealership did not do. I fully intended on buying a new Focus, but I turned around and saw a 2013 VW Jetta GLI. Liam could tell as soon as I saw it that I was in love and he took me for a test drive. I told him before we left the lot I wanted it. He worked with the Sales Manager and Dan the Business Manager and they got me in the car I wanted! I never felt pressured or boxed in. Very happy!

I traded in my car for a new 2018 Focus and I have to say, Preston gave me an excellent trade in price and worked hard to get the overall purchase price to a point where I was comfortable. The service at the dealer was excellent. Neil was great to work with, very personable and willing to help in any way. I actually had some issues with the Focus' paint and talked to Neil about them. He quickly set up appointments and sent out a loaner car (I live about an hour away) both times. When I received the car back from the shop, it looked as if there were no issues to begin with. I have no bad things to say about Preston. Definitely will have my business in the future.

Service Dept. prices are very expensive but they play games with the prices. If you decline the price then they will act like they are working out a deal for you and slowly attempt to lower the price. If you constantly play games like that, you are not to be trusted.

We purchased the exact car for the exact price that we wanted without pressure from any one. They did not play any games with our financing and we were out in about an hour. We will buy another car from this dealer in the future.
