Ultimately got the job done, but we had to bring the vehicle in several times for the same issue that got worse over time. Finally pushed back so hard that they did what I asked and determined that what we were right in our assessment. My recommendation is to listen to your customers more and quit thinking we are not smart enough to figure things out, or when we are getting the brush off. The cumulative total time that our vehicle was at Marty’s possession is almost a month. When the final determination was what we’ve been telling you over the course of 8 months, was able to be resolved in 3 business days. That’s time we will never get back trying to deal with your service advisers.
But thanks for getting it done. Also if you have someone’s vehicle in your lot for that amount of time. Maybe give it a little bath. Had to scrub the black crud off today.

After an extensive search for a particular GMC pickup... - Pickup Putdown
After an extensive search for a particular GMC pickup with specific options Sudbay was found to have a truck that matched. A deposit was placed and the vehicle build-sheet was printed.
After traveling a very long distance from out of state a truck was presented and paperwork was completed. When the truck was inspected certain options were not present. The VIN number didn’t match the build-sheet. This was not the truck that the deposit was meant to hold.
The truck that we researched, reserved, traveled to purchase had been sold to another buyer, out from under us.
This was a very disappointing and frustrating experience...

I paid $118 to be told "battery vibrating and bouncing may cause battery to die prematurely." I can provide written proof of this.
Car still not fixed. They will not help resolve issue. We are troubleshooting from home.
I will be buying a new car in winter of 2021. I am very excited. It won't be from Bob Pion or any GMC dealership.
let me start by saying I am the proud owner of 3 C7... - garabediancraig
let me start by saying I am the proud owner of 3 C7 corvettes and have never been so disappointed in having my car serviced here at Diamond Chevrolet. My service experience started on 9/14/20 when I brought my 2016 Corvette in for two new front tires that were supplied by me and a rear tire also supplied by me. these tires are on super back order because of the pandemic and are impossible to find. Being in the industry for over 33 years myself I was able to get two new front tires from one of my vendors.
upon arrival I was greeted by Mitch Haddad and was asked to drive my vehicle with the tires In into the shop where I was told to leave them unattended (1300.00 worth of tires) in their shop. I even mentioned to Mitch are you sure??
he said no problem.... when I received the call that day to pick up my vehicle I did just that. as I do I looked at my wheels to see if there were any marks from mounting and balancing the new tires, there was not. I drove my car home that day and parked it for the night... over the next 3 weeks I was feeling the car just wasn't right (looser than normal) but trusting Diamond and their team I just kept driving it. on October 15th I went to have the car inspected and the inspector told me the front tires were bald and he would have to fail my car for safety reasons, as you can imagine I was furious knowing I just had the dealership install two new front tires.
as I went back to the dealership I saw Mitch and asked him to look at my car, he agreed that it wasn't possible that the tires could wear out that quick.
after a back and forth conversation with not only Mitch but the service director was brought in to the discussion, his name was Bill Swanson. Bill said they would review the security cameras and get back to me. I said you have three days... after three days passed I never heard from Bill or anyone from the dealership.
I finally reached out to Bill on October 21th and basically was told to go pound sand. when I asked to be transfered to the General I was told by Bill to call back!!
wow I was thinking.... then I left John Massad a voicemail and never heard back from him as well. So with that said the service not only cost me 352.00 for the repairs but 900.00 in new tires that disappeared from the face of the earth.
I'm writing this so you protect yourself from shotty business ethics like theirs!!
I will certainly be telling my story everywhere I got to prevent this from happening to someone else.
I am part of 3 corvette clubs that i'm sure will not appreciate the way I was treated for the money we spend on these cars!

If I could leave 0 Stars, I would for Service - Dan
I brought my car in for service 1 1/2 months ago. I wanted it evaluated to see if an issue I was having was covered under what GM calls "special coverage", not a recall per se, but similar. After scheduling an appt, my car was looked at and I was notified that cost was covered under GMs bulletin. However, the work could not be done with $900 worth of additional work that was not covered. It would take a few days to get parts. I started asking around and doing some research and was questioning this "additional work" When I went to pick up my vehicle that day, I asked my service "adviser", Rui, if the additional work was really needed and could he explain it to me. I was rudely told "I can't do one without the other if you want me to put the car on the lift right now I will!" I told Rui there will be no need, as they won't be doing the work. I have since taken my car to a more reputable dealer, where the work was performed under the special coverage from GM at NO COST and no additional work was needed to complete it. They actually held my car because they said it wasn't safe to drive, yet Alden let me take it because I wouldn't agree to to the $900 of additional work. My point, do your homework, ask questions before you agree to let Alden do any work on your vehicle. I saved $900 by getting mine fixed elsewhere.
Cheats tried to charge me $625 to program (5) GMC remotes - Read before you sign!!
Cheats tried to charge me $625 to program (5) factory GMC keyless remote fobs (one hour labor for each remote).
I stopped in on a Friday to schedule an appointment for a couple factory recall repairs on my GMC Sierra and at the same time I asked for an estimate to program (5) additional keyless remotes which I already had. The service advisor I spoke to on Friday stated a half an hour labor to program all 5 remote (which I specifically asked "for one or all 5" which he verified as all 5 after he confirmed with a service manager). On the following Monday I returned and this time spoke to a different advisor who questioned as to where I had obtained the keyless remote fobs I wanted programmed and he got a real attitude when I told him I purchased them on the internet. He spoke to someone in an office behind the counter and proceeded to print out an estimate which he presented for me to sign which I immediately noticed the $625 estimate for programming the remotes which I was previously quoted like $62. I told him that I would not agree to that amount, told him to give me back my keys and left without have anything done.
I then went to Scranton Motors and had the warranty items taken care of and they programmed the (5) keyless remote fobs for $69.99.

On 1/3/08, my ‘05 VW Passat had a burning smell and began to smoke from the rear. I had it towed to Barry VW. Service Manager Carl Evans had me sign a form to have the car diagnosed and arranged a courtesy ride to Enterprise car rental. The next day, Carl called with the results of the diagnosis: $1700 and 4-5 days, as the car needed “a new turbo line and turbo charger,” coming to $970 in parts and $670 in labor. I asked him to be more specific about the parts, to break it down by item. He said the $970 included the turbo line, charger and any necessary gaskets. I requested a written estimate. He said it’s not written down; he could just tell me over the phone. I said I wanted to stop by and pick up a written estimate; he said they don’t write them down. A $1700 repair, plus accruing rental car costs, put me in a financial crisis. I called Carl and asked if Barry would do any financing or payment arrangements for a repair that costly. He said no, but to try VW credit. I applied online at VWcredit.com in an attempt to get enough money to cover the repair bill. I considered not fixing the car and trading it in at the dealership there for an older car for my daughter in college. I asked friends and family for help. I sweated it out. Meanwhile, I had the car towed to another garage for a second opinion. As I paid the $100 diagnosis charge at Barry to get the key back, Carl told me again, “It needs a new turbo. Let me know if you decide to get it fixed.” The second opinion at Village Garage was radically different, resulting in a $147, hour-long repair. The diagnosis was a plugged breather screen. The mechanic cleared the screen and replaced the air filter and the problem was solved. This was nearly $1600 less than the repairs needed as stated by Barry VW. As a result of Barry’s fraudulent diagnosis, I incurred over $500 in car rental expenses, missed two days of work, tried to secure a credit line to cover the high repair cost, and had a week of extreme duress handling all this. When presented with the opportunity to take responsibility for the situation and make it right, Barry’s “powers that be” would consent to only one thing: refunding the $100 diagnosis fee.
Highway Emergency - Buickguy1968
earlier this summer while traveling on Route 3 south I had an electrical issue with my car and could not shut the car off. I drove to the nearest Buick dealer and was turned away, so I drove to Battles and they not only assisted me right away, the service people were great! ordered my parts and additional needed repairs were done quick. I will be back to Battles in the future.

I have been taking my IS250 to Lexus of Watertown for a while and then I switched just for minor tune up to Ishkan's Bazarian Motors thanks to my friend's recommendation, who is a car enthusiast. Since then, I never took my car to Lexus of Watertown again. Now, I pay between 50 to 70 percent less than I was paying at my dealership and get the same (or even better) service - the only thing I miss is the nice coffee machine and leather seats:)
I love my experience at this little shop - first, I knew I am not being screwed, second, I was getting superb service and third, my service finally got more personal. Ishkan is really friendly, trying to always help out anyway possible. Once, I had two flat tires after going over a huge stone on I-85 north at night and just towed my car to his place and left him voice-mail on his phone that night. I knew my car was all set, hassles free - and yes it was! He called me the next day and found really good replacements for the tires. I could never get this kind of service from my Lexus dealership. Although, I moved from Waltham to Wellesley, I still go to service my car here. I LOVE THIS PLACE!
I want to give a half star! - Sdd1981
I went to central gmc for an oil change. As I have done so, for the past yr and a half. The service was never stellar to begin with.
All I have ever gone there for is a oil change and tire rotation. I have never been there for under a hr and a half. Just for a oil change! With a appointment!!
I recently got a oil change done 2 Fridays ago. I had an appointment as usually. I showed up. It took an hour for my truck to be brought into the shop!
58 min later it was finally done. I went to get into my 60 thousand dollar truck!
There was greasy paw prints all over the running boards and door handles. I drove away and almost instantly started to smell a oil buring smell.
I figured they put there greasy mits all over my exhaust or just made a mess of things underneath. So I finally decided to check it out. Not only was there oil dripping from the oil filter. There was oil all over the drain pan.
I didn't see any oil on the exhaust. So I started to question why I was getting such a strong odor inside the cab.
I popped the hood and low an behold they "forgot" to put the dip stick back in!! Oil is now saturated in my hood insulation!!! and made a frigging mess under the hood!! Thanks central gmc.
As a former technician. 15-20 mi. Tops for a oil change is the average time. With a 27 point inspection. Tire rotation and fill all fluids. This hour two hour sh*t is a joke!! No wayy your techs are flat rate.
Leaving a frigging mess an not to mention the dam dip stick. Strikes all kinds of unprofessional ideas about central gmc.
If you want fast friendly service. Heres my advice. Go somewhere else. xxxx jiffy lube is probably better!!
In 2006 my wife and I were looking for a new replacement... - rrpotter
In 2006 my wife and I were looking for a new replacement car. Checking the internet we found what we wanted at Cernak Buick in Easthampton Ma.
The transaction went as smooth as anything I have ever seen. Both Ken, and his daughter, Jen outdid themselves in being polite, interested, professional and helpful to my wife and me.
Since that time I have continuously brought this car and others that I own to their dealership and have found their service center to be as professional and helpful as their sales team.
As of this date, 12/18/12, there is only one other review of this dealership on this web site. I have no idea who this other reviewer is and why such a negative review but my relationship with Cernak Buick has been one in which my wife and myself have been 100% satisfied.

I WENT TO ELITE AUTO SALES IN ABINGTON,MA ON 8/15/08 TO SIGN OFF ON SOME PAPERWORK ON A MATTER THAT WAS ALREADY SETTLED WITH THE OWNER. WHEN I WENT IN I WAS TREATED WITH THE UTMOST DISRESPECT. THE SALESMAN THERE PROCEEDED TO SWEAR AND USE VERY STRONG VULGER LANGUAGE TOWARDS ME IN FRONT OF MY YOUNG DAUGHTER. I AM A MARRIED MOTHER OF THREE AND I HAVE NEVER BEEN SPOKEN TO LIKE THAT IN MY LIFE. IF THESE ARE THE KIND OF EMPLOYEES THAT ELITE AUTO EMPLOYS THAT SAYS A LOT ABOUT THEM. I WOULD STRONGLY RECONSIDER GOING ELSEWHERE.
Great Experience at Haddad - lahk
Jimi was wonderful to work with. I was leasing a car for the first time instead of buying one and he was thorough and patient with guiding me through the process and making me comfortable with my choice. I was not there for service; I was there to lease a new car.
Therefore , the rest of this page of the evaluation is meaningless.

I have been here 3 times and they did a good job taking care of my car. Two rear-enders and one side-swipe and they brought my car back to showroom condition and with OEM parts. They even buffed my car and made it shine like new.
