Service that goes above and beyond - Out-of-towner
I'm a Wisconsinite and was recently visiting family in St. Louis. The first thing I did upon arriving in the city was take my 2019 Hyundai to a drive-through car wash (to remove all of that icky Wisconsin salt). Well, the mechanism on the car wash must've caught on the bracket that was holding the electrical wiring for my towing package because the clamp came loose. I immediately took it to Suntrup Hyundai where a new clamp was installed at no charge. I thanked Sean Massey, the service advisor, and then mentioned that the Wisconsin dealership where I had purchased the vehicle had not been able to assist me with getting the voice command feature to work and had determined - after a couple hours in the service department - that even though I had the Android Auto app on my Motorola smartphone, it wouldn't connect to the car due to limitations on my phone. I was wondering if Sean had also run into that problem with certain phones. He was unaware of the problem but introduced me to Jon Feraro, explaining that Jon was a tech whiz who would likely be able to help. Not only was Jon able to get the Android Auto app to work with my vehicle, he also took the time to make sure that I understood how to use it to its full advantage. Especially considering that I'm from out of town, and was at the dealership for a totally different issue, this level of service totally went above and beyond what I would ever have expected. He knew that we were 2 hours away from our home...
Wow! We experienced exceptional service! Not only did they look at my truck immediately- they searched for the new water pump, found it and installed it as soon as possible. He and his guys even stayed late on a Friday night just so that we could get back on the road. Larry even took it a step farther by loaning us his own personal car to grab a quick bite to eat while we were waiting. I have to say that Larry and his guys made a bad situation so much better with the kindness he showed my wife and I. Thank you so much Larry and Staff for the exceptional service!! Highly recommend them!!

My luck hasn’t been the greatest the past couple of months. It has been one bad thing after another. I was involved in a car accident, and my car was totaled out. I was put in a rental until the other persons insurance evaluated my vehicle. I knew the rental was only going to last for so long. I couldn’t let this car accident mess with my every day life. Therefore; I was proactive on the vehicle searching.
A week after the car accident, I went to look at a 2013 Mazda CX-5. I educated my self about this vehicle, I read the whole history on that carfax. I got to the dealership, none of the sales people chased me down. I actually had to go inside and ask for assistance. My salesperson was Mark Kleve, a wonderful man. The dealership just got the vehicle, Mark didn’t know everything about the it...which was perfectly acceptable. We took the vehicle out for a spin. I was sold!
So a couple days go by and Mark calls me. It was listed for $11,400. Not a bad price, even Kelly Blue Book agreed. Doesn’t hurt to try and knock the price down, right? Well... no budge. I was okay with that, because of KBB. Couple more days go by, and I kept finding myself looking back at that vehicle. I called Mark up, and told him that I want that Mazda. I advised him that my credit isn’t the greatest and I had no co-signer. What were my options? Mark got me in touch with their finance manager; Kim. Straight out of the gates, Kim was awesome. She was very helpful and acomadating. I put a little money down to hold the vehicle, giving the insurance time to write a check. The insurance did everything wrong and it took a few weeks to get the check.
Kim and Mark were easy going, helpful, understand, and not pushy. They made this process more pleasant, thank you. And thank you to the Lou Fusz, for holding the vechine for much longer than promised. I will refer your business to everyone and anyone. Thank you! I’m so glad I got to take the Mazda home today!

Tyler, service advisor, is professional and cares about his customers. One embarrassing concern is apparently the TV in the waiting lounge has been out for months with no plans to repair it????? Also, the "automotive" TV/computer in the lounge has been trying to "download" for over a month. Not very impressive for customers.

So 2 months ago I was running from the hurricane in Florida, hit a deer in the hills of Missouri had the car towed to this dealership , first they don't do body work here so the car sat for the first 2 weeks ,james auto body is the one that does there body work finally gets over there they fix the body and start it up after another 3 weeks pass and the car is leaking radiator fluid out of the tail pipe , meaning it now needs an engine so back to auffenberg it goes another 3 weeks later because the engine was on back order I drive all the way up here , get 15 minutes down the road shut off to get gas try to turn it back on doesn't start so after 2 months of messing around my car they didn't check the battery to see if the battery is good, makes me wonder how good of a job they did putting my engine in and I'm sitting here in the middle of nowhere with everything closed now thanks a lot Auffenberg Hyundai you are terrible

First off - In my previous job I was the Internet Sales Manager at the largest dealership in Wyoming so I am very knowledgeable of fair market prices and how the car sales process works...This weekend I purchased a 2013 Ford Edge from this dealership. My salesman's name was Kiefer Scroggins. I had set the appointment the day before through the Internet Manager (Sheila Jackson). FYI... their Internet department is fantastic! Very quick to return my call on the inquiry that I had made through their website and helpful in setting up the appointment for a test drive.
Back to Kiefer... Kiefer is a very professional, educated and detail oriented young man. He definitely does not fit the old-fashioned, dreaded car salesman stereotype that we all have dealt with in the past. He was very polite and extremely thorough and seemed to have in-depth knowledge on not only the vehicle that we wanted to purchase, but all Ford makes and models. He did a great job of explaining and showing us all the vehicle's options and capabilities. There really wasn't much deal making that had to be done. I had done my homework on comparing the wholesale vs retail costs of this and other similar vehicles within a 250 mile radius. This was by far the best pricing on this model vehicle that I could find. I would highly recommend purchasing a vehicle from this dealership (and would highly recommend asking for Kiefer) the next time you are in the market.
