I've had multiple great sales experiences with Dean Team Subaru Volkswagen. Dean Team is one of the few dealerships I'll let work on my vehicles and always where I look for a hassle-free buying experience. I couldn't recommend Dean Team more!

Just a super amazing team at Reliable Subaru! Salesman... - Mattyrays
Just a super amazing team at Reliable Subaru! Salesman Damon Adcock did a great job helping find the model vehicle that I wanted. The sales manager Mike Strum worked hard to get the vehicle from another dealer, and helped get all the paperwork done in a timely manner. I couldn't be happier with the service I received. Damon went out of his way to make sure I was able to get the vehicle when and where I needed it. Thank you Reliable Subaru!
Excellent customer service - Yeeeeeeeeeeet (millenial)
I was basically lost on finding a car at the prices I needed so i messaged Zach and he sent me a list of vehicles that fit my criteria. I came up and together we found the vehicle that worked best for me and my budget. The customer service was excellent and information very helpful. I would definitely recommend visiting.

The transaction through text and email was pretty convenient, and the staff was pretty laid back. He patiently worked on all my requests and got back with me for answers to my questions. I appreciated the fact that in the overwhelming manuals, he marked the priorities..

Made an appointment to look at a specific vehicle, showed me three others and talked me about the advantages and disadvantages of all of them. Jake was very professional and helpful during the process. I have to say I was very pleased with the service I received from all that was involved with my purchase.
Do not have your Subaru serviced here!! My experience... - msc10650
Do not have your Subaru serviced here!! My experience with Lee's Summit Subaru was one of the worst experiences of my life. Long story short. I had my 2011 Subaru Outback taken to this dealership for repairs. My engine was overheating. They had my car for a week, I had to call almost everyday to figure out where they were at with my repair. They had replaced my timing belt, water pump, head gaskets, etc $3000. Sucks but I needed it repaired. Thought I would have a brand new car essentially with how much was done to it. Car didn't feel right when I got it back. So, 2000 miles later I am stranded on the side of the road, engine shaking. Took my subaru back to dealership where they said I needed new heads, repair is $4000. Uhh what. I just had my head gaskets replaced and what not. Was told this new problem had nothing to do with the repair two months ago. Took to another shop where they said that it was in fact due to something Subaru had done improperly. I contacted them to see if they would fix what they broke and nothing.
Please do not use this dealership for repairs! Coming from and honest hard working woman!
Preface - this is the first review I have EVER written... - Sheep or Customer
Preface - this is the first review I have EVER written for (or against) anything! The single star is only due to the excellent job of the sales staff, and the excellent maintenance quality performed previously. I have no issues with the quality of the maintenance performed, or the reliability of the Outback we own. To the issue at hand. Disappointed in the Service Department customer counter interaction is the worst me or my wife, ever have experienced. Whether me or my wife are off base or not, the service department rep should be professional, reasonably respectful, and forthright suggesting maintenance repairs. Service Rep interaction failed in all areas. High Pressure, deflection, intimidation, are standard practice experiences through more than one visit. Typical example - fluid maintenance change is introduced as first fowled dirty, when asked how this happens in a 2018 Outback with 30K, then not debris - over heat break down due to driven conditions, then next - it's a normal maintenance interval to perform every 30K. Told metal shavings found in the brake fluid. Asked a question regarding whether the warranty is active, answer - I'm only helping out the guy handling this service? For what was an appointment for oil and tire rotation became a service maintenance invoice over $1000.00. My wife declined various tasks and after an agreed discount escaped under $700.00. After 3 hours the exit interview got worse. Another counter rep intervened after my wife made several request for her keys. Side Note - My wife is disabled and I work out a town. Wanna bet whether we'll be back there or not? I’m not paid to be part of the service rep BETA team.
Sales department phenomenal! - Subie Dog
I purchased a new Subaru in May 2016, and found the sales staff the best I have encountered in over 23 years of new car purchases. The sales team did not apply pressure nor did they attempt to sway my opinion. They simply covered the Subaru brand qualities, the qualities of the vehicle, and were very up-front about trade-in value and the price of the new vehicle. In my own time, I came to decide on the purchase, and the professional staff provided a pleasant buying experience!
Financing and closing the deal were relatively quick. The business manager found me a more competitive APR on a loan, and did so fairly quickly. Then came the sales pitch for all of the "investment protection," extended warranty, and other nonsense that one always has to endure before driving off in their new car. I did not want any of these additional products. My past experience is - you don't get what you pay for, since the friendly environment that is presented through the purchasing experience is not reflected in Service department, especially when trying to mediate a problem covered by the "additional" services. Flatly I stated several times that I was not interested, but had them pitched at me as well. "You should consider Zurich coating," the business manager purred, "since it protects your paint and interior." No, thanks, I replied, as I have insurance and take good care of my cars. However, I mentioned that dent/ding/scratch/and chip protection may be something I'd considered, as I've about had it up to my earlobes with people punching dents into my doors in parking lots. "Ah," he offered, "we can add that to the Zurich program. All scratches, dents, dings, and chips under our Roper Dent policy, that we will include with Zurich." I was not sure, especially since I was moving from Joplin to Kansas City sometime in the coming year, to which he also added "well, as long as it is the KC area, I can set up a place for you there to get the work done." My wife thought it was bait and switch, but I fell for the trap, and agreed.
So, here I sit with a Roper Auto Group "Investment Protection Sales Order," that clearly has Roper Dent checked and states "6yrs dent/ding removal." It does not specify types of dent (you know, such as we don't cover dents from a moose running over your hood, or acts of God/nature, or hail, or rocks thrown from a quarry truck) - just seemed simple to me. A ding or dent, and it would get removed, as they agreed upon at the dealership.
Fast forward a year. I show the dealer chips caused by stones on the highway. I present my investment protection sales order, and am told that "it only covers dings and dents, not chips or scratches." Fair enough, although Brandon Barnum, Business Manager told me verbally it covered these kinds of things, I did not catch that the byline stated "dent/ding removal." Bad on me for not catching the bait and switch as I wanted to get out and drive my new Subaru as opposed to sitting in a snake oil salesman office.
Now, a few more weeks go by. Moving our household, moving boxes in the garage, and a Joplin hail storm catches my Subie out in the driveway, and I now have 23 nice hail dents. I schedule my Subie for dent removal, only to find out "well, we don't cover HAIL dents. It clearly states that." Except, it does not clearly state that. The form clearly states "6yrs ding/dent removal." I have 23 dents, and call me crazy, but I expect them to be removed. Brandon Barnum, clearly stated, is not a man of his word. No doubt, he is a man of what is written, but then again, in my case, this is not true either.
However, it seems Subaru of North America, having received the scanned documents, will stand behind their product and a franchise dealership whom I believe they are not obligated to back, and make this situation right.
