John was very helpful in getting a price for my second Forester, with my trade-in, that I felt was within my budget. I had Atef the next day to demonstrate all the new features of my new Forester and provided a summary sheet to refer to when I have questions about the care of the car.
Rich, with the service department, also was of great help in detecting problems with my older Forester and kept me well informed. All personal spent a good amount of time with me and I never felt rushed.
This is the second time I have worked with Atef, as he sold me my last car, and he always goes beyond being helpful.

air conditioner not working cool air coming out of just one dash vent Was told it just needed recharged $ 160. But then after they had it decided it needed a knew condenser for $800.00. I told them I would pass. Then I was told that I would still have to pay $160.00 plus tax for the recharge that they did. I paid them $177.38 and drove home. Air still exactly the same. I went on YouTube and watched video on how to recharge and then went to Walmart and for $19.88 plus tax purchased recharge kit and followed instruction. Air conditioner now blowing cold air out of all vents just like new. What do you think? Liars and thieves ?

I had recently purchased a 2015 WRX from another dealer in Cuyahoga Falls. A month exactly after owner the car, the check engine light came on and was reading codes for the Transmission. After fighting tooth and nail to get to take my car down to that dealership(I live in Mentor, so it's a 50+ miles one way for me) and getting the run around, they finally did the smart thing and called Cascade and let them take over.
Come to find out, not only did I need one of the O2 sensors replaced in the car, it also needed an entirely new transmission!! (I fully believe these codes were on before I purchased the car, as they ended up being in the "history" aka a "stored" code, and after some driving they conveniently popped on for me)
Cascade squeezed my car in, and worked on is as quickly as they could, providing me detailed information each step of the way. Luckily, Subaru had done an extended 100,000/10 year warranty for the 2015 CVT transmission for the WRX. And I just made the cut at 95k miles.
My car now has a new transmission and O2 sensor thanks to Cascade and their hard work! Both Todd and Ron in the service department were excellent, always answering my call or returning it as soon as they could. I appreciate greatly all the hard work they did to get my pride and joy back on the road.
I don't trust many when it comes to doing work on my vehicles, but I would definitely recommend and be a return customer to Cascade Subaru! It is worth the drive!

UPDATE: I had a great experience working with Bennie who worked very hard with me and his team to figure out what happened and to resolve the issue. I would go back knowing that the GM wants to provide the best experience for their customers. ORIGINAL POST: Very bad experience with dishonest service. I took my Outback to get serviced and was informed that I needed my rear brake pads replaced for $494. I informed them that they were replaced at Germain 20k miles ago and the response was, "Oh I didn't look at the history but I will check with the tech." After checking with the tech he said that my brake pads were at 4mm even though the inspection sheet indicated that they were above 5mm and that they only recommend replacement at 3mm. My question is why would they tell me I needed to replace when I was above their 3mm threshold? I talked with the manager and he told me that this is a known issue (up-selling) that he is trying to address. It's horrible that a business that people NEED to trust are out scamming people at a time when so many people are out of the job. If you must go here, be vigilent and ask questions.

This is my first review. I've been a customer for over 3 years. Just had my oil changed last week. Melissa greeted me. I explained that every time I had my oil changed, the guys left an oil mark or two on my off white upholstery. She said she would let them know. I left really pleased! No oil marks. PLUS Melissa was sure to give me the current discount and asked if I wanted my rewards applied. Absolutely! Melissa made me feel appreciated! That was a first. I called and spoke with the service department regarding a check engine light. Another dealership reset the CEL without giving me a quote on how much it would be to fix it or what could be wrong, or the actual code numbers. I used a scanner from an auto store to read the codes and gave them to the service manager at Wagner who took time to explain to me the probable causes, the different diagnostic tests, and estimated price to fix the possible issues associated with the code. Wagner's service department is friendly, patient, and helpful!
