I drove to Acura of Salem from Washington because of their on-line reviews; I wasn't disappointed. Lisa gathered all of the information over the telephone so that the necessary paperwork was ready for my signature upon arrival at the dealership. In spite of the two hour drive, each direction, the entire transaction took less time than if I had gone to a local dealership. Lisa and the Finance Manager, Bill, were both extremely pleasant to work with. I would highly recommend Acura of Salem.

2014 Kia With Borderline-Illegal Tires - Jesse
Recently, my wife and I purchased a 2014 Kia Optima Hybrid with around 28,500 miles from Ron Tonkin Acura. We met with a salesman by the name of Noah Elkind at the Ron Tonkin Fiat and he brought us to Ron Tonkin Acura to show us the Optima.
The car looked great and is great! We love our purchase! What we aren't happy with is that we recently had our oil changed and our car inspected and we were informed that our front tires are nearly bald. We've had the car for around 2 months and have only put on roughly 2,000 miles in that time. The tires we have are about 30,000 miles tires, which means that we were sold a car with tires that immediately needed to be changed.
I called the dealership and spoke with Noah and was told that "that is the way it works and there is nothing that can be done." He assured me that the tires passed inspection and that they sold me a safe car, but I simply don't feel satisfied that the dealership did it's best to assure my satisfaction.
I'm never one to state that the customer is always right-I work in retail and would be the first to disagree with that statement-but in this case, my wife and I feel like we've been duped and that's not the right way to do business with someone.
Again, we love the car and had a pleasant experience at the dealership but we're very unhappy with the condition of the tires after having them for a very short period of time.
We've reached out to the dealership and the salesman to resolve this issue and have been told that there's nothing that can be done and that is unacceptable. We would like this issue resolved, please.

We came into the dealership to see a 2012 Cadillac SRX that had just arrived. Caitlin assisted us and was very knowledgeable about the vehicle. Her familiarity with the car was very impressive! It was hard to find a car to compete with our older Infiniti, but this car did and then some! Wow!
